Just in case, you know, someone might beat me to it! Like myself, for example.

Another Black Friday deal. Thanks to Elevation for the tip off. Insider thing, ya know (*whisper whisper*).

Any reason this can't be used in a dongle rather than a phone?

Isn't that for existing Three customers?

i saw an ad on the back of Asda truck saying they are doing 10 pounds for 20gb

Is this a great deal? I'm with 3 and get unlimited for £20 a month and can tether 30 gig a month?

how can they offer better deals than O2 whilst piggy backing their network?

I'm waiting for Sky Mobile which will be using 02 network to see if they do better sim only deals. I need unlimited (3000 mins) mins / txts & 2 or 3gb of data sim only deal with a provider that uses 02 network cheap as possible. I'm with Life Mobile £10 deal but signal isn't very good indoor in my area

Minutes used last month on my previous contract out of 1000: 7. People are barely using their mobiles for calls these days. If you enjoy that tingly brain-warming feeling of holding a phone to your ear for long periods, however, this deal may indeed not be for you.

Trust me just because you don't manage to use it all up: nothing is truly "unlimited". It's always nice that some people fall for that particular piece of marketing nonsense though.

End of this year everyone will be offering 20gb

Bet you 20 they won't.

After a long winded call to Tesco I have been offered:

750mins, 500 texts, 20gb data (4g) for £19, with £20 credit.

£19 x 12 = £228. With Xtras App: £16 x 12 = 192
£192 - £20 credit = £172.
£172 over 12 months = £14.33 per month.

The Xtras app, can save you £3, I was unable to use it on my current deal because I've been with Tesco since 2011 when they did the 'Unlimited Data' sim only deals.. you know, the one where they actually slowed it down at 1gb and then capped it at 2gb.

Anyway.. I've been meaning to sort my sim out as I'm still only on 3g. Poor 3g performance at home at best, and currently very little 4g ability near Bridlington, East Yorkshire. So I felt no rush to sort it out.

I told them about the Asda deal (20gb), and the 3 deal (Unlimited Data / Unlimited Minutes / Unlimited Text / 30GB Hotspot). And that was the best they have offered me. I have until the 9th to decide, they have added 8gb of data on my current sim plan to butter me up, and I then still have the 14 days to cool off when it starts.

I showed my colleague the 3 deal this morning and by 2.30pm he was able to get that particular deal for £13 a month. (He's been with 3 for a few years, and has two sim cards with them).
He's going to enquire if his deal is available for me to take part in later this evening.

Sorry for the lengthy post. Hope this helps someone else on the lookout for something better.
