Not sure if this national, but I saw this at my local Tesco in Kennington SE11.

Never used this before, so I'm not sure what they're like. Fantastic value for money.

Saw this in my Track but they didn't have any in stock. Were there any in Kensington?

Not bad phones , got 3 last year for £30 each

Spotted in Edinburgh too

Just went to Kennington store in lunch break, but all sold out now unfortunately - thanks anyway OP glad someone benefitted

I was just thinking the same thing. What do two grebes have to do with a Moto G Tesco deal?

8GB / 1GB RAM version.

sold out in Edmonton

None in Stockport/South Manchester apparently.

£50 for a 1gb/8gb phone is about par for the course. You really wouldn't want a 1gb/8gb these days unless it really is the case that the buyer can't afford another £40 for a (much) better spec phone.

Sold out in Tesco Pontardawe

I think one grebe is 8Gb, the other 16Gb, simples!

Tesco payg version has been reduced for a few weeks in mine but no stock sim free is 99 but again no stock and none expected...

Only that store specific. Not a national deal.

probably too late now but which Edinburgh store did you see it in?

Been in numerous Scots stores and saw this, out of stock with a Sep 26/7/8th delivery...you bet staff are all over this with their discount too! No chance most customers will get one, in one store at customer services I saw some in there when the store door opened to be told they were 'reserved'...yeah till the end of shift no doubt!

Usual Tesco staff shenanigans

not another Tesco wild grebe chase?!

can you really blame them? for the pay they get over there, i'd say good for them if they can at least get some deal

The pay ? Tesco pay above minimum, rather some cash strapped care assistants who wipe butt for a living on minimum wage for a private company get them over Tisco shelf filling/checkout staff.

Bought this 3 weeks ago at the Tesco Mobile store at Canary Wharf DLR station. When I bought it the salesman said there was stock. It might help to check if anyone is near by and wanting this...

ok, so minimum wage is around £7, tesco pays at least £7.60 - fantastic. so there are people who get paid even less those at tesco, and your point is?

Its not 'minimum' wage they are on that's the point. Staff should not get first dibs, only a % of stock should be allocated to staff in each store delivery.

National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage rates gov.uk/nat…tes

it wont be long till Tesco pay minimum wage to floor staff, except management and Tesco fat cats, clubcard will cease to exist as minimum wage goes up and up each year Tesco will cut cut cut, subsidised canteen will go, free shares, etc... got billions of debt to pay off.

In 5/6 years I expect Tesco will be up for sale, shareholders cannot subsidise minimum wage and make a good return, a Tesco sale will though.

saw it as well a week ago in my tesco but was sold out.
its an amazing phone for £50 , yes it has 1gb ram but the quality of it is on whole different level than you would expect from £50 phone.

Good spot, they aren't bargain hunters too.

Op bargain if you can get one as a spare or back up phone, heat added

Ah saw these in my local, next to the Hen's teeth and unicorn droppings.

I'm bored with spotty geeks going on about how inadequate the gigabits are. Most normal people are just not arsed. They want a decent (and compact) phone for a good price. This is just that.

Is this easy to unlock?

I bought one for this price a few weeks back at Tesco and picked up an unlock code from eBay for just over a quid. Bargain phone.

Pretty sure they're not racing to buy mobile phones either

Stereotyping spots like. Poor spots.
