The Nokia 530 possibly has the worst screen in modern smartphone history.

would be even better if it comes with office 365 for one year

"So far so good, right? So far the 530 is mostly an even-cheaper version of the 630 and 635, which is not intended as an insult. Unfortunately, the Lumia 530 has a big flaw that’s apparent the first time you turn it on: its screen.

The display in the Lumia 520 is easily its weakest point. It’s workable, but even compared to the 620 and 630 it has poorer contrast, color, and viewing angles, and it’s susceptible to backlight bleed. We were hoping the 530 would be a step up, but it’s actually a sizable step down. It makes the screen in the 520 look like the screen in the 630. Let's begin with this picture."

The best current budget Lumia phone is the 435.

The 435 has a terrible screen as well, surely the 530 screen cant be any worse.

Comparison reviews say the 435 screen is brighter and generally better than the 530, however it by no means a great screen. The 435 is lower resolution than the 530 but the legibility is better.

"Where the Microsoft Lumia 435 and Lumia 530 share a common thread is on the size of the screen – both come with a 4-inch touchscreen display. You will find the Lumia 530 has a slightly higher screen resolution, as befits a more expensive phone, but the Lumia 435 has a 800 x 480-pixel screen that is bright and sharp when viewing apps and websites." "I criticised the 530 as something of a compromise too far, but the 435 takes almost the same form factor and fixes everything - and it's cheaper as well. From RAM to internal storage to front-facing camera to sensors to capacitive controls to an arguably better camera and a slightly better display, the 435 claims the bottom of the Lumia stack with a vengeance - AND it's going to get the full Windows 10 experience in time, with no showstoppers anticipated." Nikia Tab 7'' good specifics lets have try one this now ...

In English?

Looking to get my daughter her first mobile phone. She is notorious for loosing everything so I don't want an expensive phone just yet for her. would this phone be ok for an 11 year old to do the basic calling/texting/ apps

Yes, would have thought so. X)

Just look at the price & what is on offer. Not everyone feels the need, or can pay £300 upwards, not including the tablet.

Is it easy to unlock the phone ?

Is it easy to unlock the phone ?

I've got this deal. Tesco mobile charges £20 if you haven't been with for 12 months. If you have, they will unlock the phone for free. It's almost impossible to find anywhere outside to unlock it like those market/corner shops that do unlocking. If they do, they want to charge something extortionate that is almost the same amount you would get for the phone.
It's locked to tesco mobile, but you can use the phone without it being unlocked if you are on O2 or gift gaff or any other network that uses o2's network.
In the end, I sold it to CEX for £30 and bought another phone.
I hope this helps.
