Smashing deal, BUT I keep coming back to the monumentally moronic idea to NOT include an SD card slot. Idiotic ? The "bosses" responsible should be cleaning toilets along with the idiot who changed the taste of Coca Cola and C-C had to spend MILLIONS trying to repair the damage

This will go very hot, 960 degrees last week when it could be had for £152 with 10% code.

Wow, good deal. I have the Lumia 520 and I am tempted to upgrade to this.

With 32GB on board I'm not sure the lack of an SD slot would worry me.

Noooooooooooo! I just bought it on Saturday for £159 with code

Picked it up today - very nice phone.

Cheers OP, I love this site! Was tempted at £169.99......sold at £139.99. Will trade my Nexus4 in at CEX for £101 for a bit of a change

windows? nah

purchased one full price but had to return it due to over heating problem. nice solid phone but seem to have terrible luck with Nokia.

Thanks OP this will be a step up from my Nokia 5210

I think you can get 2.5% quidco too.

Hot from me ordered one at this price earlier today can't wait to get it now

Tesco seem to have goofed a bit with these codes. Everything over £150 seems to have been posted today

They've either goofed, or their marketing team has had a stroke of genius, so many sales today I bet.
20% off a £150 spend? HOT!

Lack of SD card slot may be bad for the consumer, but that doesn't necessarily make it a bad business decision. None of the manufacturers guilty of this seem to be suffering as a result. Quite the opposite, infact. The planned obselescence strategy (non-expandable storage; non-replaceable battery; releasing a replacement model every few months in lieu of long-term software support) seems to be working well for them.

Doesnt really need an SD card slot it has 32GB built in.

Yes you are missing the other code. Use them both

Great deal and you can get then unlocked for around £10-£20 on ebay.

Doesnt need unlocked.

So much phone for £139.00 Amazing

If you are lucky yes. But mine was locked and only worked to tesco/O2. So luck of the draw really.

Wow, great price. Silly infact. Shame about the OS, however.

Great phone at great price.

I'm happy with my even better Note 3 but this is way cheaper and top phone.

Hot

Been umming and aahing about this for a little while, but this has just sold it to me. Just hope it's unlocked now!

Oh gawd! I am so tempted. I could really do with more storage and have been resisting until I can source an O2 1020 with 64GB and that fantastic camera with xenon flash for less than £250 (no matter how long the wait). I've been hoping the MS transfer of Nokia's 'devices' assets might lead to a sell-off of Nokia monikered Lumias some time soon. But this is such a bargain for £139.....

Do you think if I ask Tesco nicely they'd let me use the £20 code retrospectively?

What are the best Windows 8 apps?

This v Moto G please anyone?

Considering this or the Moto G. Have an Android phone at the moment but have been looking at Windows phones as an option for the past while. Does anyone have an opinion on which would be the better choice?

Well I went for this. Better camera, 32GB storage, and Windows 8 Phone is pretty slick. I have a Galaxy Note 2 for work and fancied a change.

When did you get yours? Was it this one, the PAYG or on a contract? Because from what I know from the other threads promoting this phone, most if not all of these have been received unlocked even though it says otherwise on the box.

Probably at the start of the year, certainly not this cheap and locked to Tesco/O2.
I think those who are buying this phone should be aware that it is not a guaranteed sim-free but then even if you have to pay for it to be unlocked, at this price, it still a great deal.

Edited by: "aclondon" 31st Mar 2014

I'm not sure if mine is unlocked as I use a giffgaff SIM which is on the o2 network. Nobody complained in the last two threads that their phone wasnt unlocked, however.

Yeah, I got mine about 5 or 6 weeks ago and it was unlocked amongst a lot of other people on here that also received theirs around that time found the same thing.

a potato has a better camera than a moto g...

If i buy this, open the box, test an EE SIM card in it and find it's not unlocked, am i able to return it as i've opened the box, or can you not return it after it's opented?

What's battery life like on these?
