yea.. it was 169.. but with code it makes it better, might help someone
Yes 4g in areas where you can get 4g....
Handset is £84 on contract - see hotukdeals.com/dea…341 for a list of contract deals.
I purchased on contract from store and my handset is unlocked and I like it.
Dream on
I think I'll trust the good reviews that Nokia's latest 'phones are receiving rather that someone who thinks they are 'loosing value' !
Have you set up your MMS Access Point Names Settings? The settings sent by the network sometimes don't contain all of the settings you require.
Try following this for your lumia 800: discussions.nokia.com/t5/…400
As this lumia 920 should come from Tesco unlocked, you shouldn't have a problem configuring the mms settings using nokias access point settings app.
Quite impressed with the phone, however do miss my n9 that I was using before this. Was so simple, versatile and smarter in certain areas than this...oh well
It's not a grammatical error though. Just a typo or a misspelling.
Oh, I know. I wasn't implying that you shouldn't post it as a deal. It was over a month ago for the other one so it's fair game as far as I know. I was just saying that it was unlocked and how much of a good deal it was.
Yawn.
You can get the genuine Nokia Cyan cover for it on Amazon for £6.50.
Nokia CC-1043 Cyan Soft Cover for Lumia 920
They also have it in yellow, red, grey and of course the black ones too.
yeah, yawn if your waiting on them coming
Are you Cyanese?
what is frustrating from my viewpoint is apps come out first on android & iOS then windows phones are left 'waiting' for them to appear, whenever that might be
Lol that still exists? Heard of viber/whatsapp?
If you are looking for an upgrade. Want a phone with a high quality screen, takes brilliant pictures in auto mode, and want to do nothing more than be socially connected, whether it be Facebook, Whatsapp, Skype, email, Viper, Google Maps.. why spend more?
I grabbed one for my Mum and it was unlocked out of the box. The box even said locked to the Tesco Network. Lies! Works on all networks. If on a budget and don't see yourself talking nonsense 24/7, pair this phone with an Ovivo sim card on the Freedom Plan which offers 300 mins, 300 txt and 500mb data for nowt on a monthly basis, and save yourself from being locked into an expensive contract for the next two years.
And don't tell anyone you bought it for £169, tell them it cost £400 and you know what, they will probably believe you.
In the main.... I find it's the people that have the least money that want, or feel the need to have the most expensive and on trend items to over compensate. Which is why they don't have any money in the first place. They seem to think nothing of throwing the little money that they have away on the most frivolous of items and have an easy-come-easy-go attitude towards a lot of things in life.
heat added, well better than my iphone.
I got this back in January and yes it is rather weighty but I don't know how you can call it ugly - it's superbly well made and looks a lot more expensive than what I paid for it. I had a Samsung Galaxy S3 prior to this and while it was great, it looked cheap and flimsy in a way which this Nokia doesn't. Obviously it's no iPhone, but then again it isn't an iPhone (with a price tag to match). And why do you say Windows is crappy? I've found it works fine.
Wait 1-2 months and you get Nokia Lumia 925 for same price, which is 50g lighter...
a few niggles, like no separate volume control for the ringtone , but Windows phone 8.1 is coming soon with some major updates.
