Use your data, texts and minutes in any of the 31 European countries! Great if you're going on holiday. Do not need to opt in or anything, just have to have used contract in uk before.

Yes has been already posted but been given thumbs up after reporting it to try and get it deleted (did not know till first comments on it).

Yeah I had to pay £3 per day when in Dublin recently most of my friends on Three all free/inlc
Should say Europe not abroad as that infers it's anywhere abroad!
Thanks, didn't know about that

Isn't it 4£ a day? Greedy bar stewards. Even Vodafone include roaming now

Yeah but you only get 500mb in Europe with vodafone which is separate to your normal data allowance.
Ee charge extra for only 500mb also?

3 are the best for international roaming as it even includes the USA free.

Vodafone only include on Red plans only, I think.
Not available in Turkey.

They should do it permanently - we go on Holiday September 11th (yeah I know) so will miss out

Not entirely true. Their base Red plan includes 500MB of European roaming. Up to 4GB. Although, still not your entire data allowance, but at least it is capped.

Vodafone inclusive roaming gives you unlimited minutes, texts and picture messages, plus a monthly data allowance of up to 4GB, to enjoy in 40 European destinations within our inclusive roaming zone, with 4G in more destinations than any other UK network.

It is worth saying that the old Red plans were better for heavy data users. I'm in Belgium right now and I've taken my entire 20GB allowance with me for three pounds per day. Even on the most generous new Red plans, one only gets 4GB internal roaming and top ups are really expensive. £15 for two gigs, if I remember correctly.

Not available in Turkey.

Only 20% of Turkey is in the European area, so why should it be included, and they are not in the EU God forbid.
I'm in Holland right now and the Tesco deal was a godsend! We have 4 Three Mobile contracts in our house with unlimited data which is fab for travelling to USA, France, Spain & Scandinavia (which covers most of our holidays) but not the Netherlands.

Went to Tesco last week, bought a PAYG SIM card with £20 credit (which apparently triples to £60 for calls and texts) which then bought a bundle of 8GB data. Stuck it in a spare iphone and we've been successfully tethering our 4 phones to it all week. So pretty much unlimited use (apart from not letting the kids download video!) for 4 of us for £20.

It is EEA sort of (but yes Europe would be better; includes Canaries to my surprise, but excludes Monaco, San Marino, Turkey) & also only until 3rd September. Hot deal, but detail missing.

Key question for some would be does it include Vatican City? Could be an unholy mistake to assume that it is included! Also be wary that when in a border area, you can connect to a mast across the border.

I would suggest that anyone using this in a marginal area triple checks.
It is only on until September due to the EU vote as that may interfere with things obviously.

Whats the risks of that?

I'm only asking because I will be driving through Europe this summer (France, Belgium, Netherlands and Germany)

Yes Vatican City would be included, because the Vatican does not have it's own phone company and uses Italian networks. This was the case when I was using Three Feel at Home and it worked absolutely fine.

People make things up to make others think they are bright. The EU Brexit vote has nothing to do with this because even if we vote out things will not change for 2 to 10 years after we apply to pull out. All thes companies have their own rules at the moment due to the EU roaming rules not coming into force until 2017 and the companies want to look good in the eyes of the consumer. Most offer a maximum amount of use outside of the UK and these vary company by company.
