Nothing to Pay, well your not charged for it at the moment any way, its free to everyone, however the reasons i say i hot deal is becasue it is. For any one who has started teh new year, with a new diet,, will knwo that to do it your self , with no organstation, and just guessing, if your doing good is hard. and they will also know, to join Weight watchers , online or offline, or tesco diets, o any other orgagnistaion is costly.
I came accros this tonight, tesco new tracker, and as a perivousy ww meetings and esoruce member, costing 5.99 a week for meetings, and 12.99 a month for e source, this is heathytracker from tesco is exactly the same, if not better than e source.

It provides a tracker to trak down all you have eatin each day and tells you how much your are alowed for ur heaight weight etc....

Its no ww points ovesuly but its the smae lines, and tells you fat and calarioes too

Im sory if no one though this was hot deal, however for some one like me, who just paid 55 for tesco ediets(which i am canaelling t2moro) to find this for free, this is all i really wanted a tracker, i would have loved to known this 3 hours ago!!

My hubby discovered this the other day and is raving about it, if you put the last few numbers of the bar code in too, it'll tell you what the product is, what the fat, sugar and salt content is ect

Only problem is that the very first item I have put in using the barcode has failed. It is a 200g tin of Princes Corned Beef, last 6 digits of barcode is 415103 and it doesn't exist in this Tesco database!

Must go and eat the bread I have just baked in my Panasonic as I have only had 11.5 points up to now today :thumbsup:

any one who is good at diets and stuff, ave ate 1000 calories today, thats 50% of the recomend aparetnly, and i dont plan to eat anything else, do you think i need to teh eat another 1000 or will this help me loose weight quicker

hmm , i make it 16 spelling mistakes but hey, who cares !
Still able to make sense of it as i am sure everyone else can too so thanks for the post.

Just realised how sad it was for me to count all the spelling mistakes ............. lol !!!!

I use weight loss resources which is basically like this tracker. They say you should have a minimum of 1000 cals a day if your trying to lose weight. You should also monitor any exercise you do and ideally track roughly how many calories you have burnt and then the extra calories can be eaten on top of your daily 1000. For example i burn roughly 250 cals per day through exercise, so my calorie allowence is 1250 cals per day. Hope this makes sense!

Less than 1000 calories a day is not really enough food HOWEVER, it would be very very difficult to stick so such a low cal diet. I wouldn't eat any more if you don't want to, just don't beat yourself up on the days you eat more - less than 2000 calories a day, plus a bit of exercise, you'll be a size 8 in no time!!

(ps I know everything about dieting, its just sticking to it and not eating cheese, crisps, chocolate, wine......thats th eproblem!!!!!!!!!!

Whoa......if that's you in the picture you don't look like you need to lose 4 stone...unless it's an old picture...YOU LOOK HOT HOT HOT...:thumbsup:

On a more serious note......I've lost 3 stone in the last year, change the way you eat and what you eat and do some exercise.....I never thought I'd enjoy going to the gym...but I love it and am a complete convert...

Best way to lose weight is to eat 6 meals a day, making sure each meal consists of protien, and if your gonna eat carbs, make sure its complex carbs found in brown rice, pasta, spag etc

Also to lose weight exercise is a must! 2 - 3 times a week making sure its around 45 minutes and hey presto!!

Cut out chocolates, crisps, fizzy drinks and increase intake of will power lol.

Also best way to workout how many calories you should eat each day is calculated by your body weight in pounds multiplied by 10 and that will give you an idea. :thumbsup::)

Having now read the thread, 1000 calories is NOT enough for any one - people make the mistake of thinking the fewer the better, it might get some weight off in the short term but it's not sustainable and you'll gain weight rapidly as soon as you let it slide. You should be looking at no less than 1200 a day (women) and you need to increase that to 1500 if you are excersizing.

well yday i had this to eat, see what you all think
breakfast - keloggs sustain and skimmed milk
dinner kellogs sustain andskimmed milk
supper- a tesco HL sweet n sour with rice meal

snacks - 2 bags of salt n vinigar snack a jacks, 1 reduced fat choco digestive and 1 muller light yoghurts

drink - water and diet irn bru

i went to bed full and id ont want t eat any mopre, i weightd 13.6 new years day and i want to bbe 9.9 by summer!

hmmm , the potential was there i guess but unfortunately that doesnt paint the whole picture ..... i actually sat there counting all the spelling mistakes whilst stuffing my face with chocolate digestives and leftover thorntons continentals from Christmas.
Like many others reading this thread the idea of dieting in the New Year sounds all well and good but there doesnt seem to be any good day to start , besides which there are too many leftover goodies in the cupboards from Christmas that just wont last past February and I'd hate to waste my hard earned money , that would be just wrong now wouldnt it !!

Dinner should be your last meal of the day really ....
Supper is a big no no I'm afraid to say, this appears to be your big mistake as your body stores the food rather than burns it off.
I notice you have missed lunch as well , probably not the best idea either as little and often is often advised as again your body stores the fats for longer......
Oh and btw , Diet Iron Brew should be ditched. It'll rot your teeth even if you did manage to lose wait , i am guessing that getting to your ideal size 8 or 10 or whatever and having minging teeth or no teeth at all isnt your goal !! Forget the word 'Diet' printed on the label, the stuff is full of acid and artificial sweetener which has just as much adverse affect as sugar , be warned !!!




Now , wheres my leftover Thorntons gone ? all this talk has made me peckish !!
