These sort of offers probably mean a hard deal for the farmers who are struggling to survive. Tesco are becoming too dominant in my opinion.

Not really a "hotmoralukdeals" site is it...

This type of discussion is better left at the door when you come in.

Voted hot from me.

I see....so the logic is that Tesco pays so little to the cabbage farmer that he goes out of business and then there are no cabbages? Have you heard of Economics 101 ?

No. The logic is that this is what Tesco charge us to buy it, so if we want it, we pay it.

At those prices still a decent return for the grower as Mr T takes a smaller margin.
Tesco are only the monster that the consumer has created, but agree that when they drive the price down so much growers will become extinct then the few that are left will pull the strings.

Cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli - can I just go paaaarp and pardon me now?

Thanks for this :O)

keep an eye out for the sweetcorn twin packs as well were on bogof last week but now half price at 99p but lots of packs with the bogof stickers still around and going through till at 1.99 so free with dtd refund of the £1 overcharge hope that makes sense

Ya need your Greens, so may as well get them at the right price

2 packs is too much for me. It would just go rotten.
I would prefer one for half price.
