As per the headline - Tesco are selling their individual peppers for 35p each instead of 88p.

Seems to be for all colours (i.e. red, yellow, orange, green).

Cheaper for a change than buying a pack of three which is £1.48 meaning you even save 43p over buying the three pack.

Yes great price,normally 88p

must be a new thing, was old price online on Sat when I ordered.

I went to tesco today and did my shopping, and picked some peppers up. good price

35p is what they should be in the first place, these peppers are so expensive :x

Looks like it just started today.

All the way to Tesco to get one pepper to save 53 pence?:whistling::thumbsup:

Yeah, Tesco must have put the price of their peppers way up for several months now, in order to sell them at this 'reduced' price.

Asda peppers have been £1.36 for 3 for months. Which is what, 46p each?

It's still cheaper though - plus you don't have to buy three if you don't want to

Are these from the UK like their pre packed ones?

Im not sure of this.. but didn't think that we grew many peppers here, and that most were imported anyway..

buuut

Somerfield have had 3 peppers ( red, green and yellow) for a £1 for the last week or so..

that is if we are talking peppers here ;-)

Love Peppers,I really like the sweet pointed ones too.

Good deal. Am always buying peppers so this should save me a few quid

peppers - hot

good find! We have peppers all the time, hope our tesco have them, voted hot!

was going to post this, good considering a single pepper went up to 99p for one week, about 2 months back. the tesco's fruit and veg plege is voted hot

If you're paying 90p for a pepper then I have some rusty old tin cans for sale - £1 each reduced from £10.

Asda smart price ones are 6 for £1.38

Tesco peppers in Bridgend are a joke, over the last 8 months they have been gettin smaller and smaller, the 3 pack are now the same size as what the value ones used to be, great price for a **** product

Netto price around £1 for 3 large peppers (have never been more than that).

why on earth are they 88p each anyway ?

my local grocer has them for about 50% of this price all the time....

I bought those last week, but was a bit disappointed that they were really small. The 6 smart price peppers were probably about the same weight as the 3 regular ones in a pack from Asda.

somerfields have them 3 for £1. i was used to 85p sainsburys charged me other day for one so bought the somerfields deal instead. damn. if only i had seen this...!

Stopped buying them from the supermarkets cause in the last month they have just been silly priced. Get about 4 big ones on the market for a £1.

They freeze well too, so stock up where you can find them cheapest.! Just slice and bag up for freezer.
I use them a lot in a chicken, tomato and pepper stew in slow cooker.Add lots of garlic and onions if liked.

if you're prepared to pay 88p this week then they'll charge you £1 next week.

good deal...i guess, but in reality they're still a little overpriced. isn't it amazing how the supermarkets all have their own suppliers yet end up with almost identically high prices? *cough*cartel*cartel*. even deals that seem good aren't like strawberries at sainsburys seem to be a good offer at 99p but look closer. they've lowered the price but lowered the weight even more. you're now actually paying more per/kg. and don't get me started on British varieties fruit and veg being imported from Egypt and Africa frozen over their and defrosted here. Price you pay for low prices but what can you do. reminds me, i must pop to the supermarket tesco's should be open now...

btw: firefoxes' spellcheck has tesco's suggested correction as escort's :). say no more.
