cheers

Wife got 12 packs of sharwoods for £1 from approved foods they had 2 weeks left on their best before date so straight in the freezer!

Hand shaped bread stuffed with juicy sultanas, coconut and a touch of honey, flame baked in a Tandoor style oven = yummy

I'll stick to a sliced loaf, thank you very much...

Oh yh!

These are great naans. Got some a while back. Thanks!

Get them quickly. I looked in the chilled cabinet and there was naan left :-)

Just as an aside, and no disrespect to this brilliant offer, Asda come up best in the taste test. Brilliant texture!

Nice deal.

Don't understand why these are called 'Peshwari' instead of 'Peshawri' which is the correct name. (named after city Peshawar)

Good point, I always wondered that myself. Maybe it's easier to pronounce for the English speakers.

Peshwari nans have to do with Peshawar as much as chicken tikka masala with India... I once had a chat with someone from Peshawar who had never heard of these in Peshawar!!

Anyway nice deal... i m off to get some!

So you're saying they have nothing to do with Peshawar because ONE person didn't know them?

I think you missed the point, if it is named after something then it should be named correctly.

Though I am not from Peshawar but I have visited the city many times.

I somehow ordered 36 half a year ago... they were perfectly fine even 4 months past best before date, without freezing or anything! - Just into a pre-heated oven for 5-6 mins, and nom nom nom.
