A good price.

Product Details from the tesco website

The Philips AquaTouch AT890 electric shaver combines the efficiency and smoothness of electric shaving with the convenience and practicality of a wet shave. The AT890 is fully waterproof and can be used with foam or gel for a smoother, more comfortable shave and greater skin protection from razor burns, nicks and cuts. This waterproof shaver means you can shave while showering to save time, and caps over the cutters prevent damage to the skin. The rounded low-friction protection heads adjust automatically to the curves of your face, and a dual-blade system lifts and cuts to give you an ultra-close shave. The AquaTouch also comes with a pop-up trimmer which is ideal for sideburns and moustache, and you can achieve over 50 minutes of cordless from just one charge, or use the quick 3 minute charge for a single shave. This shaver features a handy charging indicator and can be cleaned with ease.

I have one of these, it's ok, you can use it wet as well, but still use a razor most of the time .

Can you use it under the shower? I keep to shaver and very rarely use razor as I heard it's not so good for the skin.

I use mine in the shower when in a rush, when you clean it just stick it under the tap .

It don't get in the way, as you have to flip it up to use it .

Good spot, I was about to buy this last night for £49. Thank god I was distracted! My GFs son is now in need of a razor so this makes a decent xmas pressie for him, he's way too lazy to wet shave.

Got to use my clubcard vouchers on it too, luckily I cashed them in yesterday, so haven't paid 'real money' for it at all. If I hadn't doubled them up for this would just have spent them on booze, and there has been cheaper spirits in Sainsbo's this year anyway.

Ignore the supposed £99 as that is just an imaginary RRP. I got one of these just before last Christmas when Amazon had it down around £38. Gives a reasonable shave, easy to clean, can be rinsed and holds a decent charge in the battery

at the price its a good shaver....its typical of our manufacturers that you are better off buying another new one than replace batteries/foils/cutting blades!oO

I've only had it for a month or so but it's great so far, gives a pretty close shave when using shaving foam. Also really easy to clean.

note to people who buy it, if it gives you razor burn then return it

You can normally get it for under £50 so the £99 is an exaggeration. Amazon are the same price now.

I had this and after two months it was still irritating my skin loads so I stopped using it, but generally reviews are good, especially for the price.

Find me a good deal on a time machine and I'm on it!

> just backing up poster #14 tek-monkey..point is this is an ok price I guess but it's not that remarkable..and Amazon will price-match so say

got this on amazon couple of weeks ago and very impressed , no skin problem other than the normal rash I get on any shave.

Oh, I agree the RRP is nuts. At £20 worth of clubcard vouchers though it was a steal.

If you spend £50 as a new customer you can get £10 off. So I added back to the the future blu-ray trilogy, ended up paying £42 for both items which is a very good deal

How do I double up my tesco vouchers? It says up to midnight 19th.

edit, just read the terms and its exchange till 11th and then spend them by the 19th

bu**er

well done to those who exchanged, even if I seen this deal when posted it would be after the 11th. not heard anything about exchanging vouchers in nov/early dec

hopefully this or something better will pop up after Christmas a bit cheaper. I've got 17quid in vouchers but don't feel paying the rest is worth it for this shaver.

I went to Comet expecting bargains but everything was full price despite closing down, everything must go signs on the front and most importantly no guarantee for the buyer. I don't understand Comet.
