KTC have sunflower and vegetable oils. At this price point, I think there is going to be marginal quality difference if any at all.

Thanks. Confirmed that rapeseed oil is far healthier than sunflower oil (which you shouldn't use for cooking at all according to that research article .....)

Very often if you check the ingredients in vegetable oil it will state 100% rapeseed oil. For example the Tesco own brand vegetable oil is usually Rapeseed oil.
Time to fill up the car ⛽.
Anyone know when the colleagues extra discount will be ?
Not in Hanley stoke store !
Anyone know if this is available in tesco express or it's just the big ones
This will do for my van, save me 50p+ a litre over diesel.

too expensive for me

Have seen many times Virgin Coconut oils on offer , then it comes slightly more than Sun flower oils .. Remember coconut oils are medicinal too

I've heard coconut oil isn't good for cooking because of its low smoke point.

Actually , any oil if used for Deep frying is not good . When oil heated above boiling point , its nature changes and all good stuff vanishes and also it creates bad only to human.
Just try some drops of Coconut oil on food which is finishing cooking (Jus before taking it out of cooking Pan), eg - On a fried fish , Fried egg , in fact on any food , it tastes great and good aroma. + Get all the benefits of Coconut oil.
Hope this gets hot oily
Thanks for posting. Does anyone know how long this oil stays fresh after opening (kept in a cool dark cupboard)? This bottle lasts me 3-4 months which is why i'm asking.

The rapeseed oil lasted a year easily for me. I wouldn't go near sunflower oil for cooking with,
None in chadwell heath and romford stores in London
Hot.. but if it gets too hot it’ll ignite
I mean, it's terrible for your health....but so cheap!
Took me nearly 2 years to get through a 1litre bottle. So this is great won't need to buy another until 2030!

These sizes are geared towards the Asian market that tend to cook in bulk from scratch

By which time you'll end up donating it to your local council's bio fuel reserve collection service (if it won't be cut from the latest round of local budgets due 11th March 2020 announcements by Javid the chancellor of egg-chequer).
