nice find, ordered in time for Iceland trip in January

don't understand this. isit samsonite brand or some other brand which uses samsonite plus some other words as a new brand?

An existing variant of a long standing brand - about 50% off and a good price for a decent suitcase.

Didn't realise someone posted this one. Having a look at it, it not a direct link to the Large suitcase above

Samsonite also owns American Tourister. This suitcase has an American Tourister brand label though

I wouldn't recommend American Tourister to anyone. I owned a complete set, absolutely rubbish in quality. I sold whole set on eBay for £25. Don't get deceived by Samsonite brand.

good find!.....also in red and grey

yeah that was my worry ..

Is there an Orlando equivalent?

Got the small one for cabin luggage

I've used both brands for long distance international travel and there's nothing wrong with American Tourister. Used a soft top for three multi city US trips in past one year and it's been absolutely fine

I'm just back from my ninth time there. Amaing, amazing place!

Be warned. Bought a large American Tourister last time I was in the states.
It lasted for only three flights before it fell apart when the stitching came apart. I wouldn't buy that brand again.

4kg is quite light for such a large case. i brought 4, will let you know how they fair. At £35 they are good value even if they last a hand full of trips
Thanks!

all my Samsonite suitcases and briefcase lasted ages! Have to be a great deal!

so many bad reviews here!

Have something like this, Samsonite something. The handle fabric was ripped and torn in a few uses. Stitching terrible. Would not buy again

Original Samsonite spinners cost a lot more than this, I have 2 they are amazing!.
Going on reviews, will give these a miss I think.

on a side note, i have never owned a samsonite suitcase, although i have a samsonite backpack. it was very costly and the internal compartment broke within a month,.....

i guess if you dont travel much, this is a catch. if you travel frequently and want to avoid your luggages get break in (people might steal things, or worst still put drugs in it!), then best to get a better suitcase.

Ordered the medium size in the hope of getting away with it for cabin lugage

Can't be true Samsonite with rrp of £70. HoF has basic cabin-size ones from £130 down to £65. That's a good price for proper Samsonite quality imo. Out of stock online, but were a few left in store (Jenners, Edinburgh)

how is it good value for £35 if it only lasts a handful of trips?

Out of stock :-

I bought 3 pieces set for £20 in Primark 7 years ago. I still use it and I fly 2-3 times a year.:)

These are probably good as cabin bags but my checked in bag lasted for 2 trips before stitching came apart!

Well, I've ordered 3 of the medium size. Can always return them if they don't look good enough quality when they arrive.
