So you had two Sirloin Steaks, and the best you could think of, was to cut the steak in tiny pieces and use it for "fajitas"?! What a plank - you should stick to genetically modified meat mate, or become a Vegan/Vegetarian. What a waste

Surely better than putting meat otherwise destined for cat food in there though?

I bought two and wiped my @rse with them - it's only sirloin.
I wanted fajitas that night and I don't do chicken ones now after having steak ones, usually buy cheaper steak but cant at this price and was good, got some for baguettes but if i eat steak it will be either rib eye or fillet.
just BBQ'd a couple of these. very nice with a glass of red wine
People actually buy their MEAT from Tesco? oO

Won't compare to the Duchy's organic fillet steak I just had at £31.99 from Waitrose. mmm
Ugh tesco meat, ugh fajitas, ugh if it's not from a cow I've personally reared and fed on other cows.

Jesus. Shut up.

Hot.

Good going - you must be proud.
Anybody tell me why the sirloin always has lines of gristle through them?:)
Anyone know if this is british or irish beef? We need to support our farmers and to be honest it tends to taste better than the stuff pumped full of chemicals and antibiotics.

It's Tesco meat. That's enough information to avoid it. (_;)

Yes Tesco paid for them, 100% legit!

tesco meat < gandi's flip flop
Some people really are stuck too far up their own ****.
If you read the label carefully you will see that it sez ''SIRLOIN SHAPED STEAK MADE UP FROM FRYING STEAK''
Best go to your local Butchers.

Mine closed as couldn't make ends meet
It shouldn't be being sold as sirloin steak, it's the end of the sirloin that's why it's got gristle through it, it's a cheaper cut anyway that supermarkets charge more for. If you go to your local butchers and ask for sirloin steak ends you'll get just as good (if not better) for a similar price.

If you dont want to know the scores of these games look away now.
Tesco's meat is generally poor. Matured in the packet and not well hung.... I used to be a Tesco trucker and an avid Tesco shopper. As a result of seeing how the supply chain works I would suggest that you do yourselves a favour and find a quality butcher or source direct from the producer. There is a world of difference in taste and quality. Sometimes meat can be even cheaper than supermarkets.

Try wellhungandtender.co.uk/ or sillfield.co.uk/ for an idea of the quality on offer. Both these guys meat is phenomenal but pricey. Look for this type of meat local to you. Dont be afraid to haggle!

Why are you spreading misinformation?

It is illegal to have antibiotics/'chemicals' in meat within the EU - it's the Law.

Away and watch some more conspiracy programmes for the gullible.
