It's a good idea that. A barbecue party. They could cook it exactly how they like it then and you could concentrate on your own.

I just purchased one hope they are not Tiny!

Yeah that's what I was thinking, recently done a BBQ for 9 family members and some of em were awkward customers lol.

It might also cut down on waste as I do tend to throw a lot on then peeps get full and I end up giving it the dog lol.

Recommend the long lasting weber coals that last 4 hours, got a 10kg bag recently for about £17 and they lasted over 4 hours compared to an hour at best for the standard coals so a late night BBQ can double up as a heater or if peeps get hungry a few hours later.

Darren.

Thanks for this, been looking at them for a while hoping they would reduce in price. Bought an orange one for camping this weekend.

Go Outdoors ain't bad for Weber charcoal. You can get 14kg for £21.60 if you have a card. gooutdoors.co.uk/web…953

Got one of these, paid a fiver for it in store. I tried it out last week, it seems ill designed. The silver inner receptacle that holds the coal while deep enough is not wide enough, it also sits too low below the grill grating. I totally filled it with charcoal and there wasn't enough
heat, even after 45 minutes of lighting.
One solution would be to raise the inner coal receptacle up, sand would be ideal, but there are holes in the outer casing...
