Tesco Soft Shaggy Rug 70 x 130cm, Plum Or Grey, £5 In Store @ Tesco St Rollox, Glasgow, May Be National?

Link just for reference - online on the Tesco site this is still £20. In store at St Rollox, Glasgow these are £5 in Grey or Purple. Great reviews too!

Other notable items were Chenille Bath Mats at £2 (all gone now though) and a Clock for £3.75 (other varieties available).

Shaggy Rug:
Luxuriously soft feel
L130xW70cm. Made from polyester
Dry clean

One review says "Really nice good quality rug with a nice tough under-side so it stays exactly where you lay it. My dog is continually asleep on it so if she thinks it's good then it must be " Most comments say the rug doesn't moult, either.

Receipt in Post #1.

Edit: There are some to be found in Coatbridge currently, also in Berry colour (thanks to pervy for the update, interesting username :D)

Also Redditch (thanks PowerPantsPete).

The Tesco website says "Choose from duck egg blue (240-4137), chocolate (302-0564), grey (338-3172), cream (339-1864), berry (563-4312), plum (608-2195) and black (709-6075). Other sizes also available." so there may be other colours out there.

Just opened one up. Lovely and thick, cosy material, remains to be seen how long-lasting it will be but definitely a bargain for a fiver!
Nice Rug Love !
Going to check my local for the grey rug, been looking for something similar so would be great to get one at this price! Thanks for posting OP

It's just a trick of the light The receipt is crumpled which makes the angle a bit wonky.

It says "Total To Pay £27.28 Cash £40.00 Change Due £12.72" (The Change Due amount has been cropped out).

maybe he asked for cash back

I look at the reduced section in the Metro stores near me which often have brilliant bargains. On that particular day a foreign lady had a phone stuck to her ear and a trolley guarding the entire reduced section which was rather rude!

The Chipsticks knockoff "Tesco Crunchy Sticks" are a great buy for 25p and a big 150g bag too - not sure if it's a mistake as they're £1 online (the shelf sign isn't yellow or anything) mysupermarket.co.uk/tes…tml The Tesco Baked Potatoes With Cheese are 1/2 price this week (till 10th Feb) at £1.25 mysupermarket.co.uk/tes…tml

Thanks for letting us know pervy (interesting username X)) good to know there's other colours out there. The Tesco website says "Choose from duck egg blue (240-4137), chocolate (302-0564), grey (338-3172), cream (339-1864), plum (608-2195) and black (709-6075). Other sizes also available." so there may be other colours reduced to £5 in this 70 x 130cm size.

The red colour (otherwise known as Berry, still £20 on the website) is here and looks like this tesco.com/dir…prd

Can confirm sightings in the Redditch extra store @ £5. There was about 8 left when I bought 1 yesterday.
