Got these at my Tesco last week too. And they were 3 for 2. They have the mega naan and garlic and coriander naan really cheap as well. They were also on 3 for 2

Alternatively, buy a pack of thesehttp://image.made-in-china.com/2f0j00aQTtDgTESaQp/Prawn-Crackers-ZP001-.jpg

Cost about 70p. Drop them in a pan of boiling oil until they float and expand. Can probably make 15 to 20 packs of these 15 p packs.

Asda sell similar (different brand) or buy from Chinese supermarket.

There's a time when these jokes need to stop, and we've clearly past it!

"...takeaway prawn crackers..."

Takeaway ?!

As opposed to....?

Almost all so-called prawn crackers on sale, especially the pre-cooked variety, are flavoured flour plus some minor/unseen poisoning of sorts. As for the uncooked variety, there are very few brands that are actually made from prawns, those that have been found to be real prawn crackers having their price jacked up upon jack because "Chinese Provision Shops" are more chosen than Choseness when it comes to "making a living, buoss".

For those who care, thereby helping to make a difference for the whole [ish] via their discretion, it is benevolent to realise that most humans lack Conscience, Conscience being another word for Fairness when it come to the duality that is humanity. The truly junk stuff they gave away for free is beyond comprehension - they are merely oil-soaked flavoured flour - and you'd paid for that too. So, what then is truly free? The malevolence tarted as being "free" and "fair" exchange for your hard earned. The mama-papa-ed food industry like "The Takeaways" are not only truly malicious and of-ignorance, you really can get "rich" quickly - should the Easy-Go part not demand its cut of the looting too. Something The Inland Revenue has more than a beady eye for, Taxation & Credit [T&C] being the cause of high "taxes" and the Beggary-Thievery nature of the populace - as well as the means for dividing "That Miserable Lot" in order to create the turbulent foundation for more T&C. Wonder what is The Carbon Emission of Takeaways. Laughing? It will arrive.

Your post got me thinking about something I heard a while ago and have looked into.
Apparently quavers used to come in the same form and you had to cook them yourself.

I've been looking on/off for a few years now and can't find any videos, pictures or blogs of it only the odd topic asking why did they stop making them.

I don't suppose anyone has seen anything similar to diy quavers in recent times or a recipe?

Cool story, bro.

The mini popadoms are also 15p and were on 3 for 2 when I got a load of them. Used to pay around 50p in Tesco for these.
