they stop your clothes sticking together so that they dry faster. they also as said above keep your towels soft.

thanks jennie, i stopped using lenor some time ago now and have had no problem with the softness of my towels, although i have learnt to put less in my dryer and it takes so little time so i just do this now, before i would put a sheet and duvet cover in and it would take 90 mins to dry cause it all gets wrapped up, now i put a sheet in for 10 minutes and its dry then cover in for 10 minutes and its dry, so seperately 20 mins, together 90, im not to sure i could do with the clanking:oops:

they do say tht if you use softener n with your towels it stops them being absorbant so i stopped. the balls help me.
we do try and reduce loads but with two ill children in the house we have a whole loads of washing and drying to get through so no patience to do one at a tme.

In my Tesco they changed the shelf label to £1.50 each, but they only come in pairs

thanks for this! I've been looking to get thesefor ages

These are worth their weight in.. err..

I use 4 and they clank like hell for the first 10 mins, then they seem to become part of the drying load. I paid £4.99 for 2 from Netto last year, then I went back and bought another pair.

Good price in the OP

Can you use these tumble dryer balls in the main wash cycle? I was wondering if the balls are effective in the spin dry cycle.

I can't find these through the link or the website... can anyone help?
