I dont need a tent but what a great price

Yup, that's value.

Think they must be selling them off as i bought one last week for a few euros in Galway , a great price, kids can't wait for me to put it up in garden

That price really is beyond ludicrous, just a pity that I can't justify one - not even for the cat.

These were £3.99 on Tesco site. None on stock now though. 75p is still a good price.

Shame a charity couldn't do a deal with tesco to buy a load off them and give them to the homeless.

Or maybe a few hotukdealers will spread some festive cheer and do it themselves. Great idea.

could you use this as a waterproof coat?

I like the idea of using one for fancy dress, they certainly aren't fit for camping in.

If they're prepared to sell at this crazy price, and still nobody really wants them, then why not just give them away to genuine homeless people or something, I'm sure they would find them very useful over the winter, and it would be minimal cost to Tesco over the loss they're probably already absorbing, and would be great PR.

Yeah good idea giving them to the homeless people. Good advertising for tesco indeed.

Or maybe get a homeless person to work for an hour and get a tent in return...after all everyone else has to work to receive/buy goods, to many freebies in this country.
Will help their self esteem and tescos PR.

That's a great idea, think it might be a bit complicated with employment law ect. In an ideal common sense led country that would be a super idea.

is this deal nationwide?

I'd rather not see tents up all over Loughborough town thanks.

H&S would rule this out, a tramp high on meths and tents don't mix, may trip over and break a tooth, the liability claims would just not be worth it

Will make my friend sleep in them.....................

Are these suitable for protests in annoying places that no-one cares about ?

I've slept in one of these tents before, they're absolutely rubbish! Even at this price I recommend spending £15 more, at least you'll wake up dry in the morning!

Not sure but they're probably not expensive or trendy enough to hysterically pitch outside a shop all night in the pouring rain to be first in-line to buy the latest ipoo.

Another deal for the HUKD scrounging tax evaders who'll be selling them at the car boots this weekend.
