Even the ducks at my local park turn their nose up at this stuff

Simple answer is they dont make anything on it! Although you would be suprised! I used to be a manager in a supermarket and the value mint sauce was 13p but when i scanned it the profit margin was over 300%!!!

ewwww sounds deadly

i suppose i can give it to the birds.

Thanks great deal, voted hot for me

We'll be saving some dough with this one.

good duck bread,& recipies like bread & butter pudding.personally i wouldn't use for sandwhiches, but some people can't afford much else so enough with the bread snobbery please!!!

we bought 10 of these rtc to 8p the other day and had a fab time feeding the seagulls.

they buy these in about 9p a loaf, there still making money

Whilst your intentions are good, its actually really bad to give bread to any birds, especially ducks.

No No's
"Junk food" like bread is very bad
• Seeds or nuts
• Fatty, salty or sweet foods
• Chocolate
• Onions, garlic, spices or spicy foods

Not a lot of dough, is it

They aren't making money, it's a loss leader.

Funny thing is there are a lot of people who refuse to see past their food snobbery and spend out of their means.

good deal ....13p is pretty wow. usually vote cold on value deals as ppl just say, oh look bread or crisps are xpence, but here u have a special promotion making it even cheaper.

Cheap, ideal for toast and nothing else, voted hot.

GOOD post, the bread may be not the best, but it is a deal!
Does my head in when chaps moan about things all the time!
Thanks Rosie

Thank you! Heat added!

The price is 30p at my Tesco. Anyone bought it for 13p ?

Would rather eat sawdust than this muck , sometimes you can't cut corners & bread is one of them
