Luckily, this site isn't about whether we like things or not, and we vote solely on whether the price is good deal for the tiem or not.:3

for those with no Tesco handy, Asda smart price are the same price.

I don't know what you mean. I've never seen anybody vote things cold just 'cause they're from Very.co.uk. Very's just as an example, mind you... I could have picked anything.:{

Thanks for letting me know i have added it to the post.

Cold from me, ASDA do 30 FREE RANGE for £3. Only fractionally dearer, but they are free range.

hope your not taking the P*** out of my head

thanks

Poor chickens .. cold!

Hot! Same price in ASDA i reckon

Battery eggs. Very cold from me when free range don't cost much more.

They also taste.....well, of nothing really. Watery white, pale yolks and no flavour. But then why would it be a surprise to anyone that a hen kept in overcrowded cramped conditions in a cage with no perch, no space to walk or flap their wings and no daylight would produce a low grade egg?

Nasty food. It's not necessary to keep animals this way and the alternative is a much better product.

I appreciate the post but sorry, Free range cost a couple of pence more cold for me

Cold, shame on the OP for feeling the need to share this crap!! Anybody who buys these kind of eggs should hang their heads! Poor little chickens!

who wants to buy cheap eggs the chickens suffer its awfull and the eggs taste bad its not goin to save much money either .cold cold cold !!!!!!!!!!!!!

30 free range eggs for £3 in asda... come on... if you can't buy free range eggs you shouldn't by them at all in my opinion. We are really struggling financially but i will never buy battery eggs. There is no need and it should be illegal imo.
COLD

1 free range = 2 cheap eggs so why are they cheap ? i can get 1 dozen free range eggs for £1 from the farm think about it !!!!!!!!!!!!

These taste awful.. Free range only for me.

Here here - people should be ashamed of themselves buying this sort of product.

thankfully your wrong and most of my vote is based upon the opinion of my product and price comes secondary

Eggcellent

People go on about free range but what about the products they eat that contain eggs?.
So much food contains egg proteins that are not free range so get off your high horses.

I'm not going to vote either way as I don't think these would be worth taking if someone was giving them away for free.

@markvirgo most people don't realize and also have less of a choice e.g. if its in a sandwich your buying. I try to eat free range whenever I can and would deny any food that is not free range if the knowledge is provided.

Edit: Woops I just voted cold

That's a very good point but just because some battery eggs are hidden in other products is not an excuse not to do something about it when you can. It's a really easy choice to make: It is obvious to any consumer that free range eggs come in a box with "free range eggs" written on it. So whilst you can't expect busy people to really put themselves out for a chicken by checking the source of all the ingredients in everything, it takes no effort to only buy free range eggs.

In doing this free range eggs quickly become the normal type of egg and prices drop, whereas battery farmed eggs sell in lower volumes and therefore are less profitable for egg producers. Battery farming will be phased out eventually, but by simply not buying battery eggs now we can make it happen sooner.

I would be embarrassed picking these off the shelves to be honest and I refuse to believe everyone cant find a couple of extra quid for free range or organic, especially when I'm in the supermarket and see the rest of the crap people who buy these have in their trollies.

Pfft Eggs are Eggs free-range or otherwise

voted hot!! I am voting hot because although the way the chickens are treated is unfair, I believe the way the eggs are cooked determines how nice it will be. Familys on a budget will be grateful for how cheap these are! I know you will go on about how the chickens are treated, but when you have a family to feed on a budget, your family will come first. Free range eggs are not pennies cheaper from a supermarket, 6 battery eggs compared to 6 free range eggs from somewhere like asda are 89p dearer, this is a massive amount to spend extra for people on budgets. I am not looking for an argument lol just stating this is a good deal, putting aside the moral values of it.

Shame on you for being down on the OP for posting a deal, I won't vote as don't use non-free range eggs but still decent enough of the OP to take time to post

Careful people....looks like supermarket big brother is watching what you buy.

How dare you buy what you choose to, tsk tsk!

Voted cold for me... these battery eggs are not rechargeable!

Ever eaten cake? Yorkshire pud? Custard? "Luxury" ice cream?
I refuse to take the hypocritical high ground on this subject. I'm able buy, and choose to buy free-range MEDIUM sized eggs. When I go out for a meal / sandwich, do I insist on seeing the chef before I buy? No.
Those of you who buy free range LARGE eggs should be ashamed of yourselves tsk, tsk. Think about that.
Good post badgerrules.
You bleeding hearts and artists go into the kitchen next time you have a chinese takeaway.

Coop, morrisons sainsburys only use free range in their products..

Gross gross gross.....cold

My 3 chuckys living at the top of the garden provide me with a nice little supply of tastey eggs and takes care of the majority of kitchen scraps.

I can't imagine how bad these taste. I'm not a rich man, but I can afford a decent tasting egg, lol. Cold

To all the morons on here defending these eggs, google battery hens and see what kind of life these poor creatures live!! Then go cash your giros and buy these awful eggs, you scum!
