Thanks was looking for something like this for a pressie
It's well worth £1.50, really nice X
Perfect, it's so hard to find stocking fillers for men, or at least mine, this is perfect for him
My dentist would just love me to buy this.
Love this stuff. I need more than this haha!
awesome!love it
kids pressies sorted bah humbug lol
Thanks
why?
What's so special about making food look like coal? The ex did it every mealtime!

Heat added simply for the fact it gave me a chance to have a dig at her ;-)
It's only a 120g pack and might be nice but ONLY 50p off!

In america ( i think ?) if kids are naughty they get a bag of coal instead of presents
It is instore Freakstyler!
Lovesit if you're naughty and live in Cumbria the saying is that you get a sack of coal, we all live in old coal mining villages ! X:{

Dead easy to make your own cinder toffer, just down load a resepie. made some for my son to sell at school for a cahrity day. Wrapped chunks of it up in pieces of selephane and tied them up with christmas ribbon. Sold out of it realy quickly. Get loads more for your money & it's home made too. Great for stocking fillers and doesn't look like lumps of coal.
I've brought this for my dad as he says he only got coal and satumas when he was young, tesco also do chocolates which are wrapped to look like satumas lol

It's sooooo easy to make, that it seems a shame/waste of time to buy it. Though I use a different recipe. No butter, no vinegar and no water.

Put a pan over a medium heat - add:

100g of sugar
60g of golden syrup

Do not stir at any stage. Just let the syrup melt into the sugar (swirl, the pan around on the hob if you need to help the sugar dissolve). Cook over a medium heat until the mix is the colour of maple syrup (takes only a few minutes). When the mix is the right colour, take the pan off the heat. Have a baking tray (lined with kitchen paper) at the ready and a stout wire whisk (makes more volume). Add in 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda, give it a good whisk and the toffee will start to foam up like mad. Pour straight out into your tray. Let it go cold, break up and eat.

Edit: This is also called Hokey Pokey in parts of England and (I think) in parts of Australia and New Zealand.

The whole point of it is to look like coal! As the saying goes if you're naughty Santa will leave you a sack of coal!
Now down to 75p a bag! x
This stuff is rank, ok for a joke prezzie, but should not be for human consumption
