Collect 10 coupons and you will receive 70 percent off a piece of wenger luggage. For example 22" which is usually 116.99 is now 34.99. You collect a coupon for every 20 pounds you spend , which shouldnt be hard considering current food prices.

Have you got some then?
was going to get the 22" and maybe the smaller one. Looks like a bargain to me. Woman in Tescos gave me a wad today and i only spent £20.......Why cold? Can people please give reasons?
They're pretty ugly, and why would want to buy a product from Switzerland's second best Army Knife manufacturer? That said I had a look and thought the zips looked good quality, so after having a look around for a new backpack and being totally underwhelmed by what is available cheaply, I'm going to get one. It looks like it will last and because it will look like one of those cheap ones from Tesco most scumbags will think it not worth nicking!

I have and it's a really high quality item - these are not remotely the same thing.
I have the laptop wheelie case that costs in the region of £100 (or 50 from Costco) - great quality and takes a lot of hammer....I saw the one on Tesco shelves and it is not identical but still looks pretty good - I am going to pick up a couple of items.

VDisillusioned - Play.com often have cheap Wenger backpacks - worth a look as the ones I am thinging off make the backpack at tesco the item you would save least on
Why is this so cold. I think it is a good deal? I'm off to check the bags out later today and will then buy some vouchers on ebay assuming they are decent quality. I admit I don't expect them to be "full" Wenger quality but they swould be ok. After all they have a brand reputation to protect.

I have purchased one of the trolley cases today, this is a different design to the ones available online, but as feival says "Wenger" have a reputation to uphold so would not sell below par poducts.

The case is made from a VERY durable material, and the zips are of exactly the same quality as a Wenger laptop case purchased from Debenhams, the internal material is also of good quality, all in all a good case at a reasonable price for what we wanted.

I can't understand why the cold votes.

Heat added from me.

I went to Tesco to check the bags out. I think they are reasonable quality. In no way do they appear to be the same quality is normal Wenger luggage. In particular the wheel units look very cheap. But at the price they are now I think they are good value and I do not doubt for one second Tesco will be making a margin of about 33% on them and no doubt Wenger get a 10% fee just for using their brand. I doubt these have been anywhere near a normal Wenger factory though!
How much cost the luggage with 70% discount in tesco?
I had a look at said luggage a few days ago they looked ok but on reading comments placed here it makes me wonder if they are just the seconds made by Wenger that they want to be rid of so thought gullible Tesco customers would take the bait. Having said that If they are NOT genuine Wenger products but copies is that not illegal or is there again some loophole to selling a product supposing to be the genuine article?
I saw the 18" for £24.99, got the vouchers, went to a different branch to buy and found they had them for £29.99. There's something dodgy about the whole thing.
I have got a luggage a couple months ago. Because of the price in tesco, I am really thinking to get another one, but the comments make me worried.

I think you must have seen the price for the holdall underneath, the price has been 29.99 in all sotres i have seen, but a lot of the times the things are above the wrong price tag.

Also i have been looking at these for a while and other products, i can't find anything to match this quality for the price, sure you can buy a 24" case for 9.99 but it falls apart at the airport once they have flung it about, I have had 4 X 24" cases, a holdall on wheels, a wash bag, and the laptop bag on wheels(thats hand luggage approved), for £200, a steal in comparison to all the tat available at the same price, bought five vouchers off ebay to top up to the 70 required for literally pence.
Brought large suitcase today but, when I got it home it was not as big as I first thought. It does say 24inch but not as big as the won I had brought last year .It will be fine for a week or a small packer for a fortnight, but not for us ladies for 2weeks and all those shoes!!!!!!
None of the links used in various posts work, so don't bother putting them in.
has anyone got the back pack.. my son goes thru them at a rate of knots.. school books etc etc.. thought this might be a better idea short of getting him an army surplus one!!!!

it's lightweight luggage version, so it won't be the usual wenger quality, but i think it will handle the bashing about from airports

Yes - superb quality. I see them all the time on the train, so they must take a good battering.

Proof?

You want proof? Maybe the right to cross-examine, too?

I have some proper Wenger stuff, and this Tesco equivalent isn't remotely the same quality - I've physically checked it over, because I was considering getting some, but I decided against it on quality grounds.

You can either believe that or not - I'm not remotely bothered. If you don't believe it, I suggest you check for yourself.
The only other Wenger 18" case I could find was £129, so even if these aren't as good quality as those, they are still good cases. I find it hard to believe anyone really thinks either Wenger or Tesco would ruin their reputation by selling carp.... It would be all over the papers and news. I had a quick look at them today and they look fine to me. Maybe I wouldn't pay £99 for they but at £29.99 I don't see the problem?
Bought Back pack and 24inc case lightweight and good quality. Used vouchers from E.Bay good deal dont normally shop at Tesco to expensive.
Suppose it will be fun trying spot them them on carousel at airport. You can bet there will be a lot of them sold.
The Wenger products avaliable in Tesco were part of a failed product promotion in German supermarkets. The excess stock was bought by a Dutch marketing company who then sold them to Tesco over here. Don't believe that Tesco are making anything from this instore promotion. They are of 'reasonable quality' but not as good as the regular product offering from Wenger which is really much better. Do not think this has helped the 'wenger brand' here in the UK at all. But make hay whilst the sun shines.
Would someone please unexpire this deal as all the cases.bags are still available in all the stores I have ben in the last copuple of days.

They may not be of regular Wenger quality but I can vouch for the fact that 2 of these cases have survived 4 european return flights and looking at them, although scuffed from being thrown about, they will last a good few years worth of flights and holidays.

They are also lighter than most cases of this size so you can pack more in due to some of the paltry luggage allowances

Oh and the poster who mentions seeing lots of these on an airport carousel and trying to spot yours just attach something on it such as a flower or coloured belt.

This is incorrect. The luggage tokens can be exchanged until 8th August.
