I'm sorry but this is cold. These are all marginal discounts and although I'm sure for once it's likely to be a national deal anyone can find in any tesco it's probably because no one is rushing out to buy them. For whiskey purists only methinks, not bargain hunters

You must be a whisky purist yourself (hic) judging by the nonsensicality of your post.

Some nice deals in that lot. Nice to see the Aberlour on offer. £10 off is a sweet deal.

Marginal discounts? Some of these are 1/3 off - excellent prices.

Every little helps!

Some great deals! Thanks!

Wrong! Some good discounts, thanks op

Yes! good prices especially for Chivas Regal the only one I know out of ten named here . The bottles I knew very closely about 10 years ago were Teachers ,Bells ,White Horse, Haig,J&B,Grants, Cutty Sark ,Long John,Vat 69,Famous Grouse,Black&White, Southern Comfort, Glenfiddich,Jim Beam,Jack Daniels,Dimple, Royal Salute,Tamdhu, Johnnie Walker's red, black, green and blue labels and for bargain hunters Claymore for about £6.

Thanks for posting. Aberlour is one of my father in laws favourites.

2 half bottles of Jura Superstition for £13 each in Asda, ( while a bottle is £32.50, having jumped from £25 at Xmas).
Penderyn £30 at Asda.
Whisky prices have gone the way of wine, with inflated prices for half of the year, followed by reductions to the proper selling price to make them look like bargains.
Aberlour was available for £20 regularly at the back end of last year.
Morrison's standard price for Bowmore Small Batch is £28.00.

Auchentoshan and Aberlour @£22 are good value. Saonsburys also selling solar price

Hot based on the Aberlour

Shame Macallan is never on offer! (_;)

Agreed. It doesn't seem that long ago that most non speciality malts were hovering just under the £20 a bottle price tag, and half bottles were virtually unheard of.

The excitement displayed on many posts just goes to prove that the underhand tactics of the retailers really do work, and many people really believe they are getting a bargain from the 'generous' retailers.

What a stupid statement.Until the Union of the crowns we were an independant country unity was forced upon us.We have a right to vote for our freedom and if the majority vote for it-so be it.

This ^.

Only one that stands out is perhaps Highland Park at £25 as this is about as low as it tends to drop, that said it does so pretty frequently on Amazon and at Waitrose. The rest as marginal discounts, prices drop at least £2-3 in most instances off those listed above in Asda and Amazon pretty often.

I actually got this whisky from Amazon last time it was low priced for £25 - and it took almost a month to deliver and the box was torn. I'd sooner pay £27 at tesco and hand pick and drink that night

Thats fine, but has absolutely nothing to do with it being a good or bad deal then.

The box was torn??? I would have sent it back. No way would I drink whisky that had been in a torn box. I'm tempted to email Amazon on your behalf.

Aberlour is £22 in bargain booze as standard

There are no bad whiskies as my dad says,it's just that some are better than others.(_;)

Dalwhinnie is a beautiful single malt........ hot

Buy Penderyn Single Malt Whisky then - it's Welsh and they LOVE the English (_;)

Aye, and when they get independence they're keeping poundland too. Salmond says so. So there :P
