It's been this price for months now, but was always out of stock. Seems to be back in stock. Way cheaper than any others I've seen.

ASDA are doing same size for 79p if you can't make it to or find it in Tesco

Been buying them for weeks to go in my salad.
No stock issues in Newcastle

Mcdonalds has the best gerkins

I stopped buying big jars of gerkins after they started screwing them so tightly I couldn't open them. I smashed one out of frustration once.

Then i learnt you can bend the edge of the lid out slightly with a bottle opener, then it unscrews very easily.

You're welcome, weak wristed gerkin lovers

Or use a spoon to do the same thing.

I get mine from local Turkish supermarket - larger quantity for less money.

Amazing how much cheaper these ethnic food shops can be

Lol! There's a tool for that!

Asda has bigger jar without the promotion for the same price.

Like I said this is not a promotion. I just thought it was a good price because I usually bought them for £2+.

Why ruin a spoon? A bottle opener is much easier too.

Does it have a name? Never seen one before.

No idea what the name is, but it's a small plastic thing and is no effort whatsoever to use. Recommend you get one (got mine a few years ago free with some LEE KUM KEE sauce)

Obligatory image ...and heat added.

I'll keep an eye out for one, thanks

I'm sure they are about this price in Aldi, I like the Chilli ones' not hot but they work for me.

Lidl do a big jar with chip shop size gerkins for £1.49 trouble is the brine goes cloudy once the jar is opened making them look like they have gone off.

Saw them in Aldi on friday, for even less money. Seeing as the missus works near one, I shall get them from there in future.
Just discovered their lentil curls & pea crisps, their Benefits cereal bars, all decent snacks.
