good price but i dont think it looks to good

You will also need to get at least one notice that informs the public that you have CCTV, even though you actually don't...

Nonsense.

Actually, hes half right, the Policeman who came to view the CCTV footage of a little "darling" helping himself to my car radio warned ME that I needed to inform the little sh**s that I had CCTV or the evidence would be inadmissable!! WTF is this country coming to?!?!? As this is a deterent and not actually capturing images I'd say that its exempt (unless some screwball judge decided otherwise... which is possible!!).

Thanks for the pic, put it high up because the wording they have chosen to put on it makes it look very fake..."professional CCTV by GET" FFS!?!?!? Might just as well say "This is only a toy"

For the price you can't really complain

I don't think this is a new thing? I'm pretty sure you've always had to warn people you were filming them.

Yes it's obviously exempt from regulations regarding cameras, as it isn't a camera. No "screwball judge" would ever decide otherwise - and why would they ever need to?

Not true if its trained solely on your property..........from the Information Commissioners site "Some uses of CCTV are not covered by the Data Protection Act; for example, the use of cameras for limited household purposes (such as to protect a home from burglary) " So even if it was real you would not have to put a notice up. Gonna go see what it looks like tomoz.

hate this country. what a ridiculous rule. the softly softly approach on how little darlings is hardly working is it and yet no-one has the balls to sort it. PC gone insane.

Also unlike above. Falsely claiming you have it is unlawful. A sainsbury's petrol station was busted for this. The information commissioner stated that the public has a right to know when and when it is not being filmed.

Rubbish deal, it doesn't even work hahahaha

If you have to display a sign for a genuine CCTV camera by law it will be necessary (though not by law) to display one for a dummy camera, for pretty obvious reasons.

You appear to be the insane one - it makes no sense to live in a country you hate. And you can hardly moan about "no-one" sorting it out - what exactly have you done to help?

(Also, I despise the "PC gone mad, PC gone insane" etc. phrases - stupid meaningless phrases like that tend to destroy any argument you may have had.).
