Bit dubious about the cheaper brands......a lot of tea dust and debris etc goes in the teabags, hence not as strong....not as good quality.

I always imagine someone sweeping up in the tea warehouse and all that he/she accumulates goes into the value brand teabags!!!

Quality teabags, have some heat

boozyfloozy

I worked in a Tea warehouse many years ago and have tried all types of teas, gunpowder, lapsang sushang, broken orange pekoe, black, flowery pekoe, cut twisted and curled teas, and dozens of others...........my point being........puting more dust in teas makes them stronger but not necessarily better tasting.
Every week we made a blend to take home, but, you cant beat the tea tasters to blend the best tasting teas.

An interesting comparison.Have had them both and can vouch for the Red tea bags being pretty good, and excellent vfm at £1.24 for 160.
I also rate Aldi's red ones as decent quality.(somewhere around £2 for 160 from memory)
Neither quite up to Yorkshire tea though Btw Yorkshire tea bags are £2.25 for 160 in Iceland atm

Great find, shame it is max 3 per customer.

i agree yorkshire are better but red sains arte better than others imo

Still expensive even with discount. Its only tea not gold

Very good price. If you can get them for near a penny a tea bag it's a good deal!

very good price!
