Obviously I was wrong:

I am assuming they are some kind of freq. to stop them overlapping.... else I dont know. Any ideas?

It seems they correspond to operating freq. 433 MHz 868 MHz 915 MHz. Need to find my roommate who's using them for research.

That is an interesting item and a great price! Thank you, jamhops! I also appreciate your helpful and informative comments, qinyanggl.

Read it on hackaday earlier today and gave up after 15 attempts... but just tried again and ordered the 433 version

Tried to get a second, but then was greeted with a page saying it is now sold out

sold out

'sorry has sold out'

managed to order one. will it ship from the USA? import duty?

They all look like they're in stock to me, unless it tells you when you get to the checkout?

After entering the Captcha code, also getting the 'sold out' message.

No, I think each coupon can only be used once. Luckily I got my coupon first before chatting to my friend. Should have got another coupon though, would be interesting to pair them up.

considering this is there first deal and is supposed to be on until the end of the month I will be surprised if they dont release more codes... or its a rubbish opening offer that will cause people to not go on the site, we shall see

Such is the side-effect of a power nap after work and before some late-night project troubleshooting. I surfaced, saw this deal, and ordered in a groggy state as my tinkering primal brain ran my fingers through the fields. My thanks to you both!

Agree. I almost missed this deal if I have not forgotten to close the tab showing my coupon.

Anyway, my flatmate said the op. freq. does not make too much difference, just make sure all the watches you want to network with work at the same freq. They can't communicate with bluetooth or WIFI anyway. Just make sure it is legal to use the freq. where you live, e.g. I don't think 915Mhz is a ISM band here in UK.

Mine is 868 so hopefully all good, it seems to include amateur on the wavelength so all good

433 is the best frequency

This is confusing, which one do I actually get? 433, 868 or 915?

You are supposed to choose before you checkout?

Best explanation on the frequencies. I ordered 433, but have asked them if I could swap for an 868 version instead as it allows a few more options with supported heart monitors, etc...

I want to do the same - have you got an email address to contact TI?

I have just ordered the 868 version.. Not sure why I want it, but I must admit, I have always wondered why there wasn't a "fully programmable" watch on the market, which could do anything..

Whilst I don't have the skills to do any kind of programming to make this do anything, I am interested to see what other projects are out there.. So for £15 its a worthwhile punt!
