cheers - missed out last time.

Tempted, but bit wary of buying from overseas.

Have navigated all the way through the ordering process but am not quite sure whether delivery is free or not. A message pops up at the end saying free delivery "may" be available on orders over $100. Perhaps somebody could confirm it is really free delivery.

I have ordered from TI directly several times, and it's a first class company with free and fast delivery. They have just switched to digikey, with which they again provide free worldwide delivery, but I have not ordered from them personally.

You have to select other to get free delivery:

'If you do not live in the continental US, shipping option “Other” in order to receive complimentary shipping'

TI is probably selling these at a loss, at this price and with free delivery. They are not a consumer company, but a supplier to manufacturers.

Thanks all for the clarification. Will order one just for the retro looking watch

Only the 915 left in stock.

it seems this is no longer available. after checkout it states there is backorder.
Note: Backorders exist on your order.
It also seems that if you agree to wait for the backorder you will be cherged shipping cost.
Can anyone confirm this?

1 returned to stock but again no luck with ordering.
Would 915 version work in the UK?

The 915 version will work just fine; it's only the frequency of the watch, the usb receiver and accesories you might buy. So buying a chest strap will be difficult if you get the us version. Technically you'd be breaking the law if you use the wrong frequency, but the range for these things is so small that that's theoretical.
