Will these go in a voda?

" Great for the granny who never uses her phone "

Do you need to be a " granny " to not use your phone then?

I think they use the EE network so I'm guessing not, correct me if I me wrong.

What's the tariff

The headline says £1 per MONTH. Yet the poster goes on to say that there is no expiry date. Something doesn't add up!

You could read the T&C's if you have a week or two to spare..

Better keep the Pound in your pocket.

Dodgy company. Ported in to their sister company more than 4 weeks ago, and haven't been able to receive calls since. And they don't care.

Avoid

NO they use EE

Why not go with 3 on payg, throw a tenner on which won't expire? And don't you get 150mb of data with a top up as well.

when i was still with virgin, i got their £5 a month sim for my mum and me and my sister pay it off once a year between us so it works out nicely.

I think he means that because you are paying a subscription, you never get into that problem where your SIM (and the money on it) is cancelled because you haven't made a call for three months, or six months, depending on provider. That has happened to me a few times. Twice I got it reinstated, but another time I lost the pre-paid balance.

The balance doesn't expire, but on some providers you can lose it and the SIM gets turned off if you don't make a charged call every so often. Happened to me a few times on Vodaphone PAYG.

Have had that happen too over the years. 3 credit though doesn't expire I think.

seems like an OK deal but after the ovivo hassle last year I'd probably avoid lesser known companies. can certainly see the attraction tho

calling vectone from a plan on EE, O2 and Orange are chargeable

NO IT IS NOT!

But avoid Vectone as a plague!
Edited by: "Rimi" 31st Jan 2015

I'm on vectone and get 300 mins 300 text 300meg and 1000 vectone to vectone for £5 per month. All is good unless you have any sort of problem ie any billing issue. I had an issue one time and was promised resolution then not actioned and general ignorance and incompetence. The call centre is in India I think.

NO they use EE

They used to run off Vodafone, now run off EE, There customer service is near to none as they won't answer the fff phone, avoid if you can!

It's a £1 per month contract, meaning the credit won't expire like PayG which you lose the £15 you put on it and the SIM gets deactivated after a year or so.

Utter crap from someone who is second guessing!
I have joined them - its on EE network and is fine
Don't expect much customer support but work out the problems you may have on forums.
It is exactly what is says and for overseas inclusive calls - beat that!

Precisely; you have a £1 / month contract where your only obligation is 30 days (as opposed to a year or two)
50 mins or texts (mix and match) and 50Mb data (ample to keep android working but avoid facebook!!)

Oh you better shut up....
I would like your review of the company after few months.
The worst ever MVNO in the UK. They change offers every month or so;this means if you paid 2p a minute to call France, tomorrow it might be 12p...Also,many offers are for new customers and lasts for 2-3 months, then you pay regular charges, which are 3x higher.
Even more, they might charge your credit/debit card without your knowledge, which happened many times to my mates.
CS is non existent somewhere in Pakistan and if you are lucky to get someone to speak-they don't understand english nor speak it properly.
Just one more word:
A V O I D !

Do you normally make sweeping statements dissing entirely feasible scenarios when you have no idea whether they're true or false? My, you're a reliable font of knowledge and facts, aren't you?

It's 100% true.

Just because you happen to have connected OK does not mean that everyone does. And for people who value their 20-year-old phone numbers and can't afford to lose them, it's useful to be aware that porting to jokers like these guys is not without its risks.

Yes, I am certainly correct and you're basing your arguments on other peoples experiences with no inside information regarding their competence.
I just got another one of these for my mother-in-law. No problem AGAIN
Everyone but everyone knows of a case with every mobile service provider but to pooh pooh the deal based upon those incompetent users is stupid!

If your psychic powers are correct and I am not speaking from my own personal experience, then how come Mundio have now paid compensation in excess of anything I have ever paid them, directly into my bank account?

Oh, and what I really don't understand, David, is why you are calling me out when you yourself have posted your own negative experience about vectone on trustpilot just 3 months ago. Unless someone has stolen your avatar and your initials, then it is you who posted this.

Well I'm thinking they perhaps don't as my family have one Orange and three T-mobile users and all have decent signal indoors.Thought I'd call their customer help. Gave up after 20 minutes of the same song repeated over and over and no clue where I was in the queue.Went to T-mobile - where for £4 more I know what I'm getting.

Yup, the phone I used was water damaged (my daughters) and the company have dreadful customer service and I couldn't get hold of them. That review needs editing re the reception issue.
I'm touched you took so my time and effort in researching it LOL.
Meantime, 2/2 connections are great.
Perhaps you need to justify YOUR comments based upon - was it one issue?

What, being without incoming calls for 6 weeks to my ported number of how many years? yes, that was my one issue. Pretty big one. And I'm not the only one who's experienced it.

Perhaps instead of slating people for recounting their own personal experiences - and falsely claiming that they are not personal experiences - you should ensure that factually incorrect reviews which YOU publish and which lead others (not me) to their own conclusions are correct, before then slating people for reading and acting on YOUR review.

Why did you review them if you didn't want people to take notice?

You really are a piece of work.

No time to research it - google image search quickly uncovered your contradictory ramblings.

Me - ramblings LOL - now that's hilarious
It's all about YOU isn't it. I dared stand an argument against you and you go off on one. Somewhat child-like
I dared to share my experiences which were contrary to yours.
Well there you go, apart from an over hastily written review which was my own issue last year, my current impression of Vectone stands.
2 family members on the £1 deal - very happy
1 work colleague likewise.
YOU however had a problem - and I hear the same stuff about every operator.
Shame you look to blame other reviewers.
I'm done debating with you as stubborn children will never listen to sense.

I don't mind you sharing your experiences.

I mind you claiming that I'm lying through an abusive and ignorant style of posting
