What a ridiculous idea. You either pay fifty quid for a meal that's too big, or you don't pay fifty quid and feel sick and horrible afterwards.

Credit to Nicster08 who posted this deal a couple of years ago

Yes, credit to nicster08 fondly remembered for
his Saturday and Sunday newspaper offers.
Anyway, back to this deal. To me, it is gross.
What a good way to increase the already very
large number of vastly overweight people.

You must shop in some really expensive places then! oO

    No

72oz is just over 2 kilo of meat. Tesco rump steaks are £22 per kilos I that makes £44 of meat on that plate and doesn't include all the cooking and trimmings

How sad that being unhealthy can be an achievement nowadays.

Who said you have to be unhealthy? I got to the gym 5 times/week and have just started MMA too, yet I'd love to give this a try!

There are actually 3 challenges with this.

The first is eating 2 kilo of steak plus chips in 1 hour.
The second is trying to empty your bowels.
Final challenge is flushing the stools down the toilet successfully the next day.

To the guy who said he would never touch steak again over here because he has eaten American steak:

Have you seen the steroids they feed the cattle over in America? Even the milk comes out all congealed. If anything I would be wary of eating steak in the USA. Did you come back looking like Popeye? If you did, trust me, it was not the protein in the steak that did it!

I like to enjoy a meal not make yourself ill for £45!.

That's why it's called a challenge. The OP isn't suggesting everyone who goes to this restaurant should try this otherwise they're cowards or whatever.

I agree with some of the comments made highlighting the health risks associated with too much meat/dairy in general in your diet, as that's common knowledge nowadays (finally!!), but a lot of people seem to be taking this deal far too seriously.

If binge drinking is bad for you, so is binge eating. Challenges like this should be banned. It's just inviting people to do self harm. Food is not a game, it is a necessity, and should not be treated in this obscene and trivial fashion.
