Yes, credit to nicster08 fondly remembered for
his Saturday and Sunday newspaper offers.
Anyway, back to this deal. To me, it is gross.
What a good way to increase the already very
large number of vastly overweight people.

So what happens when you take your preliminary bite and say it isn't cooked properly?

What a ridiculous idea. You either pay fifty quid for a meal that's too big, or you don't pay fifty quid and feel sick and horrible afterwards.

Says you dont have to eat the fat. According to the website there's 5 people in the hall of fame that have done it so far. Alex Hawes has a time of just under 18 minutes

No

72oz is just over 2 kilo of meat. Tesco rump steaks are £22 per kilos I that makes £44 of meat on that plate and doesn't include all the cooking and trimmings

Which is exactly my point and makes this deal a really good one? Thanks!

well i spent £50 for a 400g 120+days black angus rib eye steak at the meat co. given i have dietary restrictions and it was for a special occasion so this is a good deal. also take the meat home and if you don't fancy it make the kids some sandwiches for lunch.

cooked to your liking...... like richie from bottom cooked his xmas turkey.....then it would be 2 inches square and it wud be no problem.....with the chips and salad being a breeze effectively those would be free.

probably not the best way to tackle it if you want to enjoy the steak tho

I've been to the home of this challenge - The Big Texan, Texas (see Man vs. Food)

That is a whole lot of meat... Protein whooooo!

"So much steak...lungs filling...sinuses packed with meat."

How sad that being unhealthy can be an achievement nowadays.

Who said you have to be unhealthy? I got to the gym 5 times/week and have just started MMA too, yet I'd love to give this a try!

No matter how you look at it, this is unhealthy. Man is not designed for eating this.

Jeeeeez!!! Its just for fun!!! Nobody is making anyone do it and certainly not encouraging anyone to do it three times a day for year!!

Its just once! A one-off!

Hahaha that is disgusting!

I love me some steak but I like to take my time, you rare-eaters would be at a distinct advantage.

There are actually 3 challenges with this.

The first is eating 2 kilo of steak plus chips in 1 hour.
The second is trying to empty your bowels.
Final challenge is flushing the stools down the toilet successfully the next day.

You do realise that proteins aren't liver toxic right?
