Thanks, my son is desperate for this so he'll be one happy boy on Christmas Day.

I've got these on DVD - I just can't see how Blu-ray could improve the quality of what is quite a rough product.

These are early 90s but rendered in the style of Hergé's animations.

Great price. Can't find any good reviews. Most of the reviews on Amazon are about the DVD set and refer to a Canadian version. One Bluray review mentions poor quality transfer. Would love to order this one if this cintains the original series. Anyone ordered this / has a copy already?

These are from the early 90s - remakes of the original 60s series.

In my opinion they are excellent and I really enjoy watching with my kids - I just don't see how Bluray would improve the quality.

If anything, they are not supposed to be super smooth - the carry the roughness of Hergé's original books.

This time last year Play were selling the DVD set for 5 or 6.99. I already had them but still bought another two - 1 as a gift and 1 I keep in the wrapper (I'm not sure why).
