Sharing a deal I've just booked for me and the Mrs in March. Really rate Travel department and to me this is a great deal.
Link will take you to their Irish site but you can book from a few UK airports - and they have a number of dates available.

I used code VP-UK2020NEW to get an extra £50 off the price.

finally don't forget TCB!

March in Algrave not for families with children as weather in 14 and most theme and waterparks closed. Good for a resort break

True. Also these guys do guided holidays - we're in our 50s...and no, their holidays wouldn't be good for kids, unless they like museums etc.
Parents love these guys. If you've ever taken a holiday with companies like Newmarket, Riviera, Shearings, Omega or Ledger... and enjoyed it, then defo worth giving these a try.
I've done this kind of trip twice in the last year, but i picked up ryanair flights for £50 (east mids, birmingham & bournemouth always cheap) and hired a car for 2 weeks for £80 with sixt at faro (take out an annual insurance policy for £40 to avoid higher fees), drove along the algarve out to sagres stopping at most beaches along the way and then up towards Sines and back to Faro. It's a stunning coastline, amazing empty beaches on the atlantic coast and sunny weather almost every day.

Hotels are sooo cheap from Nov to March for solo travellers in my opinion, staying on the beach in portimao 5* casino, albufeira 5* mgm, lovely holiday inn in Armaco, all around £25 per night with hotels.com, some nice 4* hotels in Lagos, Alvor, Carvoeiro & Sagres for £20pn.

Most places you can get a good pint of beer and cheese n ham toastie for like 5 euro, plenty of nice tapas and fish restaurants for the occasional nicer meal.

Enjoy, it's a great place to visit...

OR you can pay probably £50 more have everything planned for you, no hassle with renting of car and insurance/driving, have guided tours by local experts, meet new people make friends (as we've done), and not really have to worry about anything as it's all taken care of. To me, holidays like this that allow you to explore new areas without causing you any of the hassle are so worth it..and bl00dy good value...This works out at £75pppd with flights, 4* hotel, transfers, 2 meals, and guided tours - cracking!!
And great for solo travellers too!
