good price, rubbish film imo

Good price for a superb film.

Though if fast moving CGI action is your thing then you'll probably be bored senseless.

Boring film, though I know others that rated it their best film of 2008!

great film.
westerns ftw.

Hardly worth posting... IMO

I wanted 2 hours of my life back after watching this.

Tried to watch this last night. It was on Sky. 40 minutes in and I switched to Ross Kemp.

Quality film but not one for those with a short attention span or like lots of bangs!

i fell asleep 3 times watching this!

The 2 disc version in a nomal plastic case instead of the cardboard box is still £3.99 at zavvi
heat--;

Watched (part) of this the other day. Bored me so much I fell asleep :whistling:

Good price though, unless you're me :w00t:

Says it all really. If you like Ross Kemp then don't watch this movie. Though why anyone would choose to watch Ross Kemp is beyond me.

It's worth the price of the DVD just for Roger Deakin's cinematography alone.

Soooooo bad.

Also, wait until Zavvi go bust and you'll get this (albeit bad film) a lot cheaper

It's worth the price of the DVD just for...a beer mat, that's about it.

That's half the point isn't it? This film sucks so bad that Ross Kemp was a better alternative ;-)

A DVD that's only 40p cheaper than next best contender (less difference if you consider quidco) shouldn't really be reaching 150+ degrees, regardless of the quality of the film.

HOT - You can soon tell who here have the low IQs.

Duh!

Let's watch them tough intelligent gangstas! NOT

One of this DECADE'S best ever films

Glad i wasnt the only one to fall asleep during this. Officially the only film of 2008 that did that! Missed the boring middle bit, woke up for the end. Sorted!

I'm in two minds, tell me people... should i buy this film?

You should. It's an amazing film. But clearly suffers from the 'marmite' factor as posters here are demonstrating.

By the way, i had my Virgin C/C 10% discount refused the other day. Is that right? Can they do that? Don't they have an obligation to fulfill that discount?

Well that rules out me and the missus :w00t:

Heat added - a perfect film in my opinion, but obviously that opinion isn't shared by everyone.

Incidentally, picked up the two-disc collector's edition for £3.99 in there just before Christmas, had to hunt for it though.

I love this movie. Amazing acting, cinematography, screenplay, score.... Yes, it's long.... and that's probably the stupidest criticism of a movie... But I'm happy not to share the same opinion of film as people who watch Ross Kemp on TV. That just about sums it up.

Best Film Of 2008. (next to Dark Knight)

In the bluewater store its only £3 so £2.70 - the 10% discount.

Absolutely. Gorgeous film and it seems whatever he turns his lense to is shot superbly (see also his major body of work with the Coen Brothers, esp O Brother, Where Art Thou?). English too - go England!
