Time for for bdo to hang up its boots
Change of location highly questionable.
There's a heritage component not to be ignored.
As it's on Freeview TV, who needs to travel to the most un-atmospheric place in London?

Which channel on Freeview?
Quest
Lad I know won this the last 3 times, massive shame what's happened to the BDO since he left.
Oh dear, from expecting a sell out new venue to having to give tickets away just so it's not played out in an empty venue. Sorry state of affairs for the bdo, this'll be the end.

Shame.

Edit- Quest isn't showing any from this weekend or during the week evening sessions. They are on Eurosport.

Dear oh dear, dread to think what the atmosphere is going to be like now
They have already advised players prize money will be vastly reduced as they only sold 15% of the tickets. They will be paying passers by to go in soon so there’s more fans than players at the stage.

PDC need to take it over and bring it into the modern day as a feeder. Surely there can’t be anyone left who still holds a grudge?

I watched the pdc darts on sky one a few weeks back, the commentators are rubbish, they talk between themselves about anything but the match, rip Sid Waddell - even Tony green was bettter than this lot Lakeside had a great atmosphere
I don't know the full ons and outs, but pros not attending because of lower Prize Pot is a disgrace

Would you go to work on a contract that's worth 30% of your normal salary?

I know I wouldn't.

You should probably read about the full “ons and outs” then. It would make a lot more sense.

If you needed travel, accommodation and food etc in London for a week and were not guaranteed to even cover your costs unless you pretty much won the whole thing would you do it?

Bdo players all have other jobs, they need to use up holidays to compete and those who aren’t likely to go far would make a loss, it’s not worth it.
Shower of......

Agree.
Tournament just starting on TV (Quest)
They obviously failed to attract many at £3 - the place is empty
Like a darts match at a crematorium
Did anyone actually get tickets from this deal ?
