Classic album but why are the prices of standard vinyl albums so inflated?
Simply the best Radiohead album ever, and one of the greats in general

Cos it provides retired artists like these a good financial top-up in their fallow years. E.g. swimming pools cost a fortune to run.
He looks like hes getting the best head
Great album. Heat. My favourite track is Black Star, closely rolled by Just and then The title track.

I expect because they're more of a novelty in the day of streamed music. Just owning music, I expect is already a novelty. The kids are used to streaming. My eldest has just finished school, she loves music, but I don't think she owns any music except the Tweenies and Bob the Builder CDs we bought her back in the day.

I have hundreds of CDs from my 20s and 30s. I've got The Bends, which is an absolute classic. But I don't have a CD player in the house any more.

I remember the old days where I could get records from Woolies, Smith's, HMV. Everywhere in town had records. Then I discovered independent record stores. I'm not sure where I would pick up a record these days. As expensive as the price is, I think it's a fair price in the market. It is the market that has changed.

We don't all buy records every week or so. At my peak I was in my favourite independent record store 4 or 5 days per week. Today we can can through music at home and just listen to it there and then. Records are for us oldies and nostalgia, hence the price.

If I had a record rec, I'd have this album.

"You are so pretty when you're on your knees"
Such a good album. Thom Yorke was brought up about 100 yards from where I live.
be prepared to send it back

I got a copy 2 months ago for same price

Side A seemed fine except original recording didn't transfer very well and seemed distorted on certain notes

Side B was a disaster and jumped all over the place

But it is Amazon and you will get a full refund

Best Album they did by a mile.
Ascend slowly
Awesome album.
Such a brilliant brilliant album!
Like others in the 90s Radiohead seemed like geniuses.
I have to say though their tracks have not aged well.
Will stick with the CD.
Great album but not worth £15.99
the best Radiohead album IMO.
The Bends is one of my fav songs to play on 🎸

I was exactly the same. I'd spend an hour a day during lunch breaks in either Magpie Records, Our Price or HMV flicking through the music. Bought so much music I'd know where every album was in the store. Still got about 1500 CDs and about 200 vinyl albums lying about but nowhere other than my cars CD player to play them on
