Looks nice, do you know if it's a hardcover?

I've seen this in WHSmith and it's a softcover. I'm not sure if there is two versions though, there may be a hardback version

It’s basically an issue of retrogamer magazine.

A better name would be The Magazine of Mario, all the specials are soft cover magazines. Not a bad thing (I own quite a few) and well worth the reduced/sale prices.

I used to see the term 'bookazine' float around for a while. But yes these aren't books they are slightly thicker than normal magazines. Still a good read though as you say (I also own several) but they do simply recycle articles from the standard issue of Retro Gamer into one compilation.

As others have said this is basically a bumper sized magazine with articles recycled from regular issues of Retro Gamer magazine into one compilation. It's still a good read if you've never read Retro Gamer before, they produce some interesting and informative articles.
Still available at £4.99 plus 12.12% Topcashback. Can this be unexpired?
Got to be worth a read at that price.
