It's not actually the trilogy box set (which is only available in US format) but as there is a 10% off today they are all invidually priced at £11.64 so all 3 totals £34.92.

Released on 30th March 2009.

For the record Lovefilm+The Hut don't charge you until the films have been dispatched.

Thanks.

+ 5% Quidco = £33.18

**edited to say The Hut also doing a 10% day today and tomorrow aswell**

The lack of the box set in the UK may make your Blu-ray collection a little neater when the fourth film is released next year.

Hmmmmm, tempted...

For me I own them on normal dvd and they upcale really well. So can't see the point in 'upgrading' for £35. Great series of films and a must If you haven't got them already.

I just bought the HD versions theres a massive difference, so if you can get these cheap. I paid £16 for mine off the fleebay get them. Flipping well worth it.

The first two have just been on the telly the last two Saturdays and I must've seen them over and over but they're just so watchable.

Absolutely, and therefore not worth shelling out 35 squid just to watch the same content/story/outcome with a few more pixels IMHO!!:whistling:

Thanks. voted HAWT

Three old films for £34....hmmm not for me. Just bought the last one for £3 on DVD. Think i'll wait it out untill it's the blu-ray set for £10-15. Patience....must have patience.

oh dear, im in for these, nice one, i should avoid this site, i still have loads of blurays to watch.

I just don't get spending nearly 35 quid on three movies, especially when two of them are quite old!

each to their own, im pretty sure when starwars episodes 4 5 and 6 get released on bluray they will be some of the biggest sellers of all time, not bad for films 1 of which is over 30 years old.

i want them because they are good films, well made with good location work, camera work and action sequences.

im hardly likely to buy many brand spanking new comedies on bluray unless they are stupidly cheap, action films however are a different kettle of fish, you actually get to experience the action in a far better quality.

Yep agree...great films but also 'each to his own'. I'll pay £35 for the star wars box sets and £135 for the LOTR extended versions box sets but I'm happy to wait for the action films to drop a bit...£5-7per film I already have on DVD seems about right.

The US version is actually region free. So if u want the box set u could go for this
