I got this for £6 on eBay last month, it’s a really good slasher
I have rose tinted memories of this film but I know it's probably rubbish now.....but I still. Want it!

I thought the same, watched a year or so again & it is disappointing. But they nearly always are aren't they? Some good Tom Savini FX, & if you happen to be a Seinfeld fan, George Costanza is in it! So yeah, no matter what, you do need to watch.
Good or Bad I hope this doesn't go cold....not with a title like that! May be better suited in the pharmaceutical category

I don't know. Loads of classic movies I used to love are still great today. There are some that I weren't as good as I remembered, but not many.
Great 80’slasher
Is this the fully uncut version? Does anyone know?

Not a fan of horror films then?

No, but that's beside the point. Unless you are some sort of sadist or masochist you can hardly look back on such a film with rose covered glasses!

Ha ha I meant more that it was a good horror film in my mind. Its probably looks awful now and isn't the shock film it was at the time.

"Now, fully uncut and in High Definition, The Burning is ready to reclaim its place as the ultimate summer camp nightmare." - from the Amazon description
Remember this being cut to bits at one time, literally!
Its a great movie till you see cropsys supposed horrific face which is laughable and not the least bit scary

This is one of the best 80s slashers and a cracking transfer to boot. Decent extras too. Well worth the money.
The Burning is one of the great non-franchise slasher movies, and if you're a fan of horror it is still as good today as it was then.
