The Butterfly Effect - Evan Trehorn (Ashton Kutcher) is a college student who has suffered from blackouts and memory loss since he was a child. Tormented by deeply repressed childhood memories he has visions of his best friend and first love Kayleigh (Amy Smart) as a child (Irene Gorovaia) whose Dad (Eric Stoltz) is a child molester and whose brother Tommy has a serious sadistic streak. In search of greater clarity Evan pores over his journals and is physically transported back in time where he is still a young boy and has the ability to change what happened.

The Butterfly Effect 2 - After his girlfriend, Julie (Erica Durance Smallville), and two best friends are killed in a tragic car accident, Nick (Eric Lively The 'L' Word, American Pie) struggles to cope with his loss and grief. Suffering from migraine-like seizures, Nick soon discovers that he has the power to change the past via his memories. However, his time-traveling attempts to alter the past and save his one true love have unexpected and dire consequences in the present.

The Butterfly Effect 3: Revelations - After discovering that he has the ability to travel back and forth through time, Sam Reed (Chris Carmack) becomes a law-enforcement affiliate who aids the police by using his skills to identify killers. Theres one golden rule of his practice: whether on purpose or by accident, dont alter, interfere, or interact with anyone, as the results could change the future forever. Reed breaks that rule in an attempt to help his murdered girlfriends sister find the perpetrator. But with each attempt to fix what hes altered, he only finds himself in a deeper mess.

Hot - great value, I paid £14.99 for this on release.

Before people ask, #2 is nowhere near as good as #1, but is worth seeing once. In my opinion, #3 is better than #2 but not as good as #1.

The only disappointing thing is that they put the first two films on one disc, so there was limited room for extras, so you don't get to see any of the alternative endings to the first film.

Great value though - one outstanding film and two OK films for £11.49!

Trilogy?!

The first film was great saw it a while back never knew they did two more though

Burgulars break into the Griffin household.

Brian - "Why have we got a panic room?"
Peter Griffin - "Well, I got the idea to build a panic room after I saw that movie The Butterfly Effect. I thought, wow, this is terrible. I wish I could escape to a place where this movie couldn't find me."

Okish movie. The ending was a bit lame, although can't remember which one I saw (the released ending, or alternate ending).

Great Deal for 3 Movies Thanks!

Does anyone know if the first film is the directors cut or the theatrical version?
