Would love to see an Amiga version
Loved my c64. These games really don't stand the test of time, like some amiga, NES and other systems.
If you want to take a trip down memory lane, download an emulator. You'll be glad you didn't shell out £65 for a bit of nostalgia you're unlikely to use after the first few days.

Somethings are best left in the past.
I have the original. Might drag it out the loft for a blast up!

Lol wonder if the scalpers will rape this as they did the snes

Doubt it, games this old haven't aged well, great for nostalgia but that's about it, the SNES games are a bit more timeless and more people will want to play them.

That being said, I wouldn't be *too* surprised if you're right.

Would love to see an Amiga version

^^^Amiga Forever is your freind, a offical emulator that also plays all Commodore games, amazing emulator and a lot better and cheaper than this effort.
I remember these back in the day... left one on overnight once and melted the powerpack, haha

Not too much of an issue if you can load image files via USB and according to the questions on Amazon it seems it’s possible. The biggest issue is the lack of working keyboard as it’s most probably the cheapest input device to manufacture yet they didn’t include it but hey USB fixes all

The keys aren't even functional. They're purely aesthetic.

Brilliant game !! Loved Syndicate too , ultra violent
I was a commodore kid, had the c16, the vic 20, the c64 and the later c64c stopped short of the Amiga

Very unlikely, given they've been out of production for about 30 years. Working chips are very sought after and not cheap. The sound in these machines will just be emulated.
Poor selection of games, how can you not have Ghosts n Goblins in there?
Stick with emu

I was poor so I had a ZX Spectrum.
Might as well chuck £65 in my cupboard and forget it’s there

Then it’s a no from me Len.
Kudos to the company that's picked up the License, milk the suckers.

Me too, but find the emulators decent enough to leave it there
think i'll wait for the amiga mini

Oh no I've got one of those as well. I think it's the A1200 from memory. I must drag it out the loft for a blast up as well !
I'm such a hoarder of the past... Also got a Commodore Pet Computer for those of you that remember it.

The companies involved have also been silent on exactly what you'll find inside the plastic housing of the C64 Mini, but reports on the official forum suggest that the guts are a simple Arm-based single-board computer (SBC) not a million miles away from a Raspberry Pi running a software-based emulator

They said they are releasing a full size version with working keys in the future but no price point set on that yet.

what an overpriced piece of plastic in my eyes but each to their own. not voted either way

Be careful. In a lot of these old computers the caps have dried out and go pop when switched on!

I read this list and went WOW just wow that is all the games i love, day one purchase for me..... then read it again and you said they were missing
No Rock'n'Wrestle. Cold.
Included games?

Does that mean pre-loaded games?

Where is the excitement of waiting for 20 minutes for your C30 cassette to load only for a final crash and reload, crash and reload? I can't be the only c64 gamer who spent more time listening to Rob Hubbard's pre load music than playing the games

Monty music
Got two 64's sitting in my retro collection.

You could say that about any console/platform though. If it's just about getting the games to run then, yes, emulators exist, but actually having re-released hardware is a nice thing to have sometimes. It's just a shame that the hardware isn't really up to much in this case - those non-functioning keys are a deal breaker for me.

Still have my A1200 - all upgraded with extra RAM/GPU and a whopping 800mb HDD - still in perfect working order and still in use occasionally. What amazes me most is how well the joysticks have lasted - those things were/are indestructible!

It's on Steam - store.steampowered.com/app…30/

And I can tell you that playing it in 'Classic' mode looks, sounds and feels exactly like the original Amiga version.
Agreed, I used to use mame32 on my pc.

My best mate had Sinclair. Rubber key 48k and the zx 128k with tape built in, which I thought was just a rebrand of the old amstrad cpc464
Sold out already???
This was good fun in the 80s, but it should stay a part of history.
