I went into Asda's yesterday in Reading and saw that they had the Coen Brothers 7 DVD collection for £5 from £15. Not sure if this was just a deal in Reading but they only had 2 left at the time (I picked up one of them myself).

Have some heat, Good find

personally find the movies overrated, but voted hot on price.

The Coen Brothers are an acquired taste. I cant fathom their films out but my brother loves them. Superb deal OP and here's some heat!

Wish I'd checked the dvd section earlier.

Will take a walk there again tomorrow and check as this is a great deal!!

Can you list which films are included in the set please?

Well you can't go wrong for a £5 but who made a Coen brothers collection and left off Fargo, Raising Arizona and No country for old men?? strange

Wowsers! That is a hell of a bargain.

Whilst I like (most) of these films - surprise surprise - I would suggest for the most part they are the 'second string' of the Coen canon. So they'd like you to buy Fargo etc. separately, and then here is a job lot of the stuff you probably wouldn't have bought otherwise... I'm guessing that's someone's theory on how best to maximise the revenue from these films.

Because they're owned by Fox and Paramount and this is a Universal boxset.
