The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx (Kindle Edition) Free @ Amazon

After seeing posts for George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four and Robert Tressell's The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists (two of my all-time favourite books btw), I thought I'd post a deal for The Communist Manifest for some light bedtime reading for people when they've finished reading the two books mentioned above.

The paperback can be bought for £1.25 delivered.

Buy? Sounds like somebody is espousing property. Marx would not approve.

This should be in freebies - it's always been free for Amazon Kindle - if this is a deal then I have hundreds more permanentky free Kindle deals to post - any of which would be a better read than this discredited philosophy, which, whilst appealing in theory, doesn't work in practice - and has caused more deaths in the last century than any other human inflicted tragedy. Mercifully there are only five countries remiaining that proclaim themselves to be communist - Cuba, China, Vietnam, Laos and North Korea - none of which are beacons of free speech or human rights.

There has never been a Communist country, they just used the name.

Let's not beat about the bush - after so many failed attempts and all of them woeful by any measure, there will never be a Communist state.

Free speech and human rights are just tools to make us believe we are free

...so says Stalin, Mao, Castro, Kin Jong-un, etc. etc.

Keep drinking the Kool-aid comrade.
