Was playing it at the weekend, was pretty impressed, well worth £8

A pretty good game, definitely one of the better first person shooters on the Wii (though that's not necessarily saying much outside of Metroid Prime Trilogy & the Call of Duty ports). Well worth less than a tenner.

Didn't feel like paying full price for this, but for less than a tenner I'm well willing to have a go on the Wii control scheme for First Person Shooters.

Obviously it's not going to have 360/PS3 graphics, but this is just something a little different.

This is a very good game in my opinion. I would have paid full price for it, (actually I wouldn't as I wouldn't have bought it had it not been in a sale, but now in hind-sight I would be happy to have paid full price).
Fairly familiar theme story to anyone thats played Half-Life, but thats no bad thing as that was a great game too!
Running my Wii through component cable to my TV, and having the surround sound piped through the Dolby II decoder on my surround sound system made this game very imersive.
It's the first FPS I played on the Wii and I found myself drawn into the game well. From what I understand the controls are quite different some other FPS games on the Wii, but again, not for the worse. From what I've heard from others they find the controls firstly 'strange' to get used to, but after a short time they feel very natural without over-exploiting the Wii motion sensitivity. A flick of the nunchuck to throw a grenade, using the Wiimote to aim & look around, rotating it slightly to change the effect ofsome weapons... and if you don't like it, they are all completely remappable

Yeah, ok, as you can probably guess, I really liked it - lol

Nowhere near a classic but worth a look, especially if you only have a Wii, a console lacjking in the FPS dept.
The single player boasts technically excellent but bland graphics in a generally uninspired single player campaign. The control scheme is totally customisable though, and throwing grenades with the wii remote feels totally natural.
The multiplayer feels distinctly old skool in comparison to Modern Warfare and is worth a go despite the complete b*stard cheaters that come along every so often floating through the air, all invincible like, firing their rocket launcher's like machine guns. 12 player online mode with no local multiplayer.

Plenty for High Voltage software to improve upon for the sequel, but worth a look for this price imo.
