FILM SYNOPSIS
Based on the graphic novel by James O'Barr, this fantasy follows Eric Draven (Brandon Lee), a rock musician who is murdered along with his fiancée, Shelly (Sofia Shinas), by a group of marauding thugs who terrorize the decaying city in which they live. One year to the day after his death (which happens to be Devil's Night), a mystical crow appears at Eric's grave; Eric rises from the dead and, with the bird as his guide, goes on a mission to avenge himself against Top Dollar (Michael Wincott), the leader of the gang who killed him. Star Brandon Lee was killed while filming a scene in which he was shot with a shell from an improperly cleaned gun that was supposed to be loaded with blanks. Like his father, martial arts superstar Bruce Lee, Brandon was fated to enjoy his greatest popular success after his premature death.

Only talking about this the other day, great film. Haven't seen it for years, I think I had the video!
Didn't realise there were 3 more Crow films after this one, anyone know if they're any good?

Might have a dabble with this one. I have on dvd, and the quality isn't very good to say the least, so Blu-ray quality should be very good. Anyone checked the quality out? On an LG CX oled ideally?

Edit: I've bought it, and it's pretty good, heck of an improvement over dvd (edited)

Such a great movie with lots of depth and good music to make it a very enjoyable. They keep trying to make a remake of it but it keeps being held up and would not do this or Brandon memory any justice in my book.

This is a film I still have somehow never managed to watch yet, despite how many times I hear what a classic it is! Need to finally get on it.

Is it just me or does anyone else think there is a similarity to Heath Ledger as Joker? Creepy how they both had tragic ends too...

Voted hot but...at the time I was excited to see Brandon Lee in a major Hollywood production and so sad about what happened but never thought that this movie was great. My favorite Brandon Lee movie is Rapid fire, great martial art scenes.

Much overlooked and underated film, Brandon would have become a major Action Star...r.i.p. But one of my favourite films of all time and glad they completed it!

I have about 6 versions of this movie from VHS to HD, to Blu ray... all worthy, the sequel was terrible, but number 3 wasn't too bad... can't remember if they did a number 4... thought they did and it was shi#, or was 4 a tv film I watched and thought it was Crow 4 lol..

I still watch the 4:3 DVD edition, isn't as clear as updated versions but the film just seems to fit the frame better imo, 16:9 versions seem oddly cropped in places.
