Thanks OP it's a start for those looking to dip into the subject however as there was some 13 Crusades over quite a period 61 pages isn't going to enlighten the reader... for those who require more reading this may help..

I agree that both sides were pretty bad by 21st century standards, however, there is no escaping the fact that the Crusades were a response to Islamic aggression and conquest. Certain schools of Islam still adhere to this type of ideology (conquest and subjugation) so it is relevant to our lives today.

Well thats nonsense. They were called by the pope to drae attention away from problems at home. White europeans rushing to attack the christians jews and muslims who lived there. Colonisalism at its worst and distraction politics.Perhaps you should do some wider reading instead of being brainwashed.

And i find the conquest and subjugation hilarious considering the behaviour of europeans christians for the last 2000 years.
