Any know how old you have to be to do this?

late 30s, as you have to have watched it originally.
You're only allowed to do this if you watched it in the 90s. Otherwise you're doing it for the chav nostalgic retro factor.

We did this in April last year, it's such a good day out, so much fun!
Is there an automatic lock in after 3 minutes?
I've been trying to look for London tickets for end of Jan but cant find any tickets for less than £65
Nice find
My main issue with this experience was that you had to be in large teams, we took a group of 5 and they tagged on 3 randoms. We got on well but ultimately it meant I only did 2 games and the maze.

That's how many games each person does on the tv show

I went on a midweek, and me and my partner get paired with two others. It was great, having a team of 4 meant we all had 1 game in each zone. That was just a lucky accident.
I remember when my local bowling alley had a crystal maze section in it was the best thing ever

What if your teenage kids watched repeats on challenge?

One person per challenge though, so you'll actually be playing for what... six minutes in total?

I like the idea, but it seems pricey compared to something more involved like an escape room.

I went to this really involved escape room once, it was just me alone all the walls were padded and I had a lovely white jacket on........ oh wait.........
No lock ins, but we did this a few weeks ago and enjoyed it. Our gamemaster was good too.
Went for a stag do, nice for a bit of nostalgia however it's effectively interactive theatre. Your gamesmaster is coordinating your team with another 3 other teams so timing is key, for this reason there are no clocks in the challenge rooms. I remember one of our team getting about 20 seconds for a challenge and getting locked in. He was not impressed.

If you are going in for challenges, I'd suggest an escape room instead. If you fancy a bit of nostalgia, go with an open mind.

I've been the Manchester location, it was absolutely quality, I've never experienced anything like it
Great experience. Manchester is better than London I've heard. Their prices are so fluid though. Constantly changing.

Sort of you get sidelined and they ask you a random question to allow you back in the game.
My 6 year old loves watching Crystal Maze on catch up. Take it there is an age limit for this?
Check the official site before booking from 365 as it appears they are offering them at about the same price, but with more time slots. The gate price on the 365 site is total rubbish. That must be the peak price or something.
Awesome day out. This was part one of my stag do back in August. Loved every minute of it

I did the Manchester one and it wasn't like that for us.

City v City? Perhaps.
Pricing? It seems erratic and illogical.

We did the manchester site, on the old coronation st studios, was proper fun. As some other people have said we were a group of 5 and got 3 random girls join us. Tbh even with only playing 2 games each with strangers, it was really fun, your maze guide is entertaining and you get to shout help and orders at your mate who is doing the game. So basically it is exactly like the show, a full on retro nostalgia experience that is a lot of fun.
