The Cult: Born Into This (2CD) (Savage Edn). This was posted a few weeks ago, but since then the price has dropped again! At £2.43 now, it's certainly worth a repost.

BTW, this is the 2 disc special edition so it's insanely cheap!

Description:
------------------
Eighth album, the first since 2001's 'Beyond Good And Evil' and singer Ian Astbury's subsequent sojourn in the reformed Doors, from cult British group probably best remembered for their massive hit 'She Sells Sanctuary'. The Cult were one of the first bands to fuse heavy metal with goth rock and this album, their first for Roadrunner, continues the tradition with big melodies, bombastic vocals and fat chunky riffs. Was produced by Youth (Crowded House, James, The Verve) and includes the single 'Dirty Little Rockstar'.

Review:
-----------
Spin (p.99) - 3 stars out of 5 -- "Guitarist Billy Duffy supplies relentless, fist-pumping power chords, while Astbury knows when to hold back and when to unleash his killer wail." Uncut (p.98) - 4 stars out of 5 -- "BORN INTO THIS rips from the speakers like an irate Velvet Revolver, Billy Duffy's relentless axe-hero riffing matched by Astbury's typically waspish lyrics."
