Cold. I paid under two quid for this album. In 1973.

No thanks, I've got 500 other albums, don't need this.

Great story.
Great price for a classic album, anyone with a turntable should own this - heat.

Got this on vinyl, cassette and CD, brilliant album, I don't see any need to increase the Bands riches any further by buying something I already have🍺 :/
I think i've got a first edition. Anyone know how much that's worth?

If it's got all the stickers and posters that came with it, several hundred I think.

Depends on the colour of the Triangle around spindle hole...
The 5.1 version of this is off the scale.
Yeah I've got a copy bought in the 80s ..still has the poster and sticker inside

Might have to look up how much it's worth

...sold about half my record collection off in the late 80s....kicked myself ever since
Great headphone album

f you have Amazon Prime, and their music player, you can stream it for free.
Classic album - certainly in my top ten of all time.
Whos is this Pink Floyd ? Are they any cop ? I believe they are not a patch on The Jam .
Is this a good deal? A small discount on a vinyl record? Doesn't seem applicable to many people, so I'm not sure why it's near the top of the front page.

You talk to strangers at the pub?

They talk to me these days as I try to keep to myself, this is small town Worcestershire where everyone knows someone who knows you. Suspect you live somewhere very different. Not that your judgement should matter at all.
Best Album ever made

It's Dark Side of the Moon. There's an inexplicably massive following amoungst middle aged blokes. I mean massive. I've met loads of them. Now I could also get onto their politics which would have had Syd Barrett homeless and destitute, but this is enough. About to log off, have anything but real ale, and listen to anything but the Floyd.

Hilarious post. It's a shame you're logging off. You have so much more to give.

You know with inflation £2 in 1973 is like £24 today...

Hardly inexplicable

Undoubtedly one of the finest albums ever

I personally listen to a wide variety of music but still manage to appreciate exceptional albums such as this

Some people have the mentality to dislike something they may have never experienced because they believe it to be overrated. I see it often.
I'm not sure on the re-release pressings, I've got my daughter some modern vinyl and it's appalling quality, it's like it has not been pressed properly, am I the only one who thinks this way?
I did read on a forum that the engineers who had all the expertise and experience in vinyl have disappeared now, hence, the quality is no where near where it should be.
Hot for the fact that records are being released though.
Got loads of Floyd on vinyl but no deck any more. Need to sort out my life priorities and get one - the wife wants a new set of hooters, so what do I do?
