Terrible film.

Dark time, if you buy this.
I'm a big fan, but yep film was a bad let down. Why anyone would want to watch this more than once I don't know
Love the books, hated the film
Its a good price but as the others have said...awful, awful filme. It's a shame as the story is good and I do want to expand my UHD collection..but not with this!
So, the film is supposed to be a new turn in the cycle, therefore not an exact replica of the events of the books and new things can happen... But why throw out almost EVERYTHING from The Gunslinger?

Really the only things this film has in common with its source material is a few names and concepts. That's it.
It's utter garbage
one very awful movie for the price of almost 3 months netflix subscription? (4 if free trial month included) OMG Amazing deal

I don't know why I watched it even once. I think it was a 6'er on IMDB so if there's nothing left to watch I'll watch those (see below it's 5.7! I think I must have been desperate to watch it or the rating has fallen since I saw it)

Some 6'ers I did enjoy this year were Infinity Chamber and Radius. With a bit more thought to the plot they could have easily been rated higher, but anyway both decent enough films to watch. The Dark Tower is a 5'er as it's rated as 5.7 once you go below 6 on IMDB you're wasting your life watching these films
